DEMANDING, FORCEFUL, UNFLINCHING WITH A DESIRE TO BE SWEPT AWAY, SEDUCED, FASCINATED AND TOTALLY ABSORBED IN LOVE !!!

VENUS began its lusty, sensual transit through the penetrating and sexually charged sign of Scorpio on Sunday, October 23rd, at 3:52 AM EDT ... Venus was last in Scorpio from November 21st through December 15th, 2020 ... this intense Venusian energy comes complete with a universal "whip" - but will it be for pleasure or pain ... or both for those of you who are adventurous ???

Venus in Scorpio is considered to be operating in detriment ... that means it is transiting through the sign opposite to the one it rules which in this case is Taurus ... it is also considered to be in detriment in Aries which is the sign opposite to the other ruled by Venus and that is Libra ... in detriment, the planet is said to not be operating at its full power taking on more of the sign's rather than the planets "coloration" ... it's like visiting somewhere that you have to conform to others rules and regulations ... however, this is no less of a powerful transit for Venus - as long as it doesn't get out of control which is so easy to do !!!

SATURN - the planet representing authority figures, discipline, effort, sense of order, limitation, the urge for safety and security, tests us by placing obstacles and restrictions in our lives, shows what we are unsure of or truly fear, known as FATHER TIME, and most notoriously known for being the celestial taskmaster teaching us the lessons we must learn in life - stationed back into direct motion on Sunday, October 23rd, at 12:07 AM EDT ... these lessons we MUST learn through the obstacles we often encounter sometimes are easier but more frequently become extremely challenging and difficult on our journey through this life in order to make us slow down so we can build strong foundations and structures in our lives that are on solid ground !!!

While Saturn has been in retrograde motion since June 4th of this year, hopefully we have all been reviewing and trying to restructure systems, programs, organizations, corporations and rules that will allow them to function more efficiently ... we also were given the time and opportunity, if we used it wisely, to become more aware of our own personal authority and power and determine whether or not it fits within society or is actually undermining us and needs adjustment on some level ... in addition, we all should have been reviewing whether or not societies rules and policies are helping to give us needed structure or instead limiting us in some way thus preventing further personal and spiritual growth !!!

Now that Saturn has resumed direct motion, we should begin to be better able to see where we stand and thus continue building even more secure structures and foundations in our lives individually and as a society as well ... no doubt we may have encountered limitations and restrictions either self imposed or imposed on us by the Universe and/or authority figures during this retrograde period ... and perhaps now the Universe will even throw in yet another road block or two our way to make us realize whether or not we made good use of this retrograde period !!!

This 140 day Saturn retrograde period, which began back on June 4th, occurred from 25 degrees 15 minutes back to 18 degrees 35 minutes Aquarius ... if you know in your natal chart in which house or houses these degrees fall, then you may understand where in your life this Saturn retrograde was making its impact - especially if it made any aspects to one of your natal planets or angles those being the cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses ... Saturn has been at the 18 degree mark of Aquarius since the beginning of October, and will not leave the 18 degree mark until approximately November 13th, yielding the potential for this to have been a challenging period for many people especially related to the area of life ruled by which house 18 degrees Aquarius falls in !!!

My fellow Capricorns, this was our yearly period of review, self-introspection and rethinking of what has transpired in our lives especially from October 11th, 2021 until June 4th of this year - that being the period when Saturn was in forward motion !!!

Saturn is currently transiting through the sign of Aquarius which it began back on March 21st, 2020 ... Saturn in Aquarius is all about combining traditional values with new age related insights and ideas ... it's a placement that yields the potential for a well organized mental concentration ... here the concern for impartial truth is highly pursued ... it also has the potential to give a sense of justice and responsibility in relationships ... it gives a heightened ability to visualize form and structure and can yield great mathematical ability ... and as Saturn is considered to be in a "partnership" with Uranus, planetary ruler of Aquarius, there is great potential to bring structure and order to the immense desire for freedom as well as to the chaos that can often ensue from the often disruptive energy Uranus creates !!!

Usually people are not very happy when Saturn comes into the picture - even though it is always there one way or the other - to teach us and make us learn life lessons that are often very daunting and difficult, but we native Capricorn born understand how hard Saturn's "weight" can bear down on us ... after all, it is considered to be the Celestial Taskmaster !!! ... so its retrograde journey each year becomes an opportunity for everyone else to feel and hopefully come to understand what we have to live with all of our life ... challenging - you bet !!! ... and no one would ever say it was an easy task, but the potential for rewards are unlimited if you open your eyes, ears and hearts, allow the Universe to lead the way and be willing to go the distance ... after all, if you don't learn the lesson the first time, you can be sure the Universe will bring the lessons back around again, and the next time they may end up being even more difficult to deal with in your life !!!

As Saturn is most frequently teaching all of us very difficult lessons, some more so than others,  holding firm and staying positive will get us through this making us stronger and better able to deal with life and its many challenges ... so if you can keep your feet firmly planted and try to understand that the "light at the end of the tunnel" usually signifies greater personal as well as spiritual growth, you will definitely come through not only a much stronger and focused person but also able to handle this journey through life more efficiently for the lessons you have taken seriously and made great personal effort to learn from ... you will surely be better equipped to deal with life and its many constant challenges not just from Saturn's energy !!!

Time for me to once again reiterate a worthwhile observation of mine ... as a Capricorn born who will be ruled lifelong by Saturn, I can say that from personal experience the transits of Saturn aren't always a bad thing that should be dreaded ... while its actions can be difficult and challenging, Saturn's main objective is to help us grow and become a better, more highly functional and successful person by finding the courage deep from within to take a serious and honest look at where we are versus where we should be going ... as I have heard it said many times, better to be right than right now !!! ... ultimately this is done by making sure our foundations in life are always, strong, solid and secure !!!

Saturn remains in direct motion until June 17th, 2023 ... this was Saturn's final retrograde period in Aquarius ... hopefully Aquarius born, as well as the rest of us, made good use of this energy since March 21st, 2020 in both direct and retrograde motion ... look to see in which house or houses 0 through 29 degrees Aquarius falls to see if you can determine what lessons the energy of Saturn in Aquarius brought especially in regards to the area of life ruled by those houses ...  Saturn now moves forward to complete its transit through Aquarius on March 7th, 2023 not to return to Aquarius until January of 2050 ... on March 7th, 2023 Saturn will begin its transit through the sign of Pisces !!!

Mercury was last in Libra from August 30th through November 5th, 2021 - a longer than normal transit due to a retrograde period and that will be the case again this year as well !!! ... harsh words and intimidating comments are seldom or very hesitatingly spoken while Mercury moves through this sign - after all, Libra is ruled by Venus which tends to soften and sweeten things while adding charm ... in many ways this can be considered as the cosmic energy expressing the "language" of love !!!

Meanwhile with this current mercurial energy, for all of us this becomes a period of time when we have the ability to learn to speak more graciously and gently through our communications ... and to that end the Universe encourages each one of us to realize -

PLUTO - planet, dwarf planet, etc., take your pick  - associated with death, rebirth, transformation, change, upheaval, healing and renewal - completed its retrograde journey for 2022 on Saturday, October 8th, at 5:56 PM EDT ... Pluto has been in retrograde motion since April 29th going from 28 degrees 35 minutes Capricorn back to 26 degrees 06 minutes Capricorn and there undoubtedly has been a lot of reexamination on many levels of changes both we as individuals and as a society have been involved in !!!

Now that Pluto is stationing back into direct motion, things could start to surface that we may have been seeking information about ... secrets will surely begin to be exposed and those involved will most likely be brought into public awareness even if they did not want their questionable actions to see the light of day!!! ... during the retrograde period we have all been trying to understand how we individually impact the Earth and other people as well ... Pluto is about to complete its transit through the sign of Capricorn on March 22nd/23rd, 2023, but it will only just dip into Aquarius ere it takes its next retrograde journey and return to the late degrees of Capricorn for some last minute business  ... there are definitely going to continue to be issues arising concerning big business, the economy and governmental policy changes that affect everyone !!!




Pluto tends to expose the "dark side" of things and bring it into the light even when it is not what some would like ... we are  currently witnessing what could be referred to as the shakedown of governmental lawbreakers as well as intense scrutiny of the very process of the way the government is functioning - or not !!! ... also people are empowering themselves to make authority serve the true needs of all people and the planet as well !!!

There are two groups of people that are most likely feeling the effects of this powerful shift even though we all will on some level in our lives ... Scorpio born individuals, this is your ruling planet so now it's time to come out of your period of review and reflection which began around April 29th and start implementing changes or be prepared for change and transformation !!!



My fellow Capricorn individuals, we are going through massive personal change, upheaval, transformation and even healing and "rebirth" as this energy is making an added impact for us since Pluto is moving through our birth sign, the transit actually beginning in January of 2008, and will not complete its full transit through our sign until 2024 due to its lengthy retrograde journeys and slow movement - after all it takes about 248 years to complete one journey around the zodiac !!!



In fact during this transit my fellow Capricorns, Pluto has either crossed over or will be crossing over, or be conjunct as we refer to it, at some point your natal Capricorn Sun placement at birth with the potential to bring vast sweeping changes to your life - it has been scrubbing back and forth over my natal 27 degree Capricorn Sun for the last year and a half and won't be through until fall of next year ... and I had just finished experiencing an 18 year long transit of Pluto transiting through my 1st house as well from 2000 through 2018 - I could write a book !!! ... it is very important that you do something NOW during this transit in order to move forward productively on your path in life ... the changes may be difficult and challenging but should not be feared as they are necessary and will bring about the birth of something new in your life that will be beautiful and remarkable !!!



For those of you who have had a natal chart done and know in which house 26 degrees 06 minutes Capricorn falls, you most likely will feel some kind of power shift or impact in that area of your life from Pluto stationing back into direct motion ... in fact, it's intensity has really been building since roughly August 3rd when Pluto reentered the 26 degree area where it would eventually station direct !!!



Pluto remains in direct motion until May 1st, 2023 when it begins its next retrograde journey at 0 degrees 21 minutes Aquarius !!!



We all should now be prepared for an outward upheaval, tearing down, death - not necessarily always physical, rebirth, transformation, change and even the potential for deep healing somewhere in our lives and/or within society - understanding not only that this process is absolutely necessary for personal as well as spiritual growth, but more importantly we should always be prepared to expect the  unexpected !!!

And now that Pluto has completed its retrograde journey for 2022 and begins its forward motion, things may truly once again, if they haven't already, begin to SHAKE ... RATTLE ... AND ROLL !!! 

MERCURY DIRECT - BUT STILL THE NEED TO PROCEED FORWARD CAUTIOUSLY !!!

   

MERCURY completed its third retrograde journey for 2022 on Sunday, October 2nd, and stationed  back into direct motion at 5:07 AM EDT at 24 degrees 11 minutes of Virgo - once again, do I hear a BIG SIGH OF RELIEF out there ??? ... what revelations have you had or will have, either positive or challenging in regards to what you may have done while Mercury has been "scrubbing" over those degrees - 24 degrees 11 minutes Virgo to 8 degrees 55 minutes Libra - forwards, then backwards and now forward again as it crosses back over them ... in which house or houses do these degrees fall in your natal chart giving you a clue as to what area of your life this retrograde may have affected you ???

Hopefully, some of the disorientation, confusion, frustration and outright irritation along with the sudden and unexpected issues that may have been produced by this Mercury retrograde will now begin to clear and subside as it becomes time to move forward cautiously into the swing of things on all levels - especially as Pluto will station direct on October 8th followed by Saturn on October 23rd and most importantly as Mars begins its next retrograde journey on October 30th !!! ...  this is a lot of energy and incentive encouraging us to get "unstuck" and move forward on some level of our lives !!!

Did any issues and complications or questioning arise in regards to things done during the last retrograde period from May 10th through June 3rd??? ... or maybe as far back as January 14th through February 4th ??? ... and it's a sure bet that as Mercury moves forward once again crossing back over the degrees it covered during this retrograde period, issues may begin to arise meaning things begun and actions taken are certainly subject to potential review and revision - a never ending universal process but all for a good reason !!!




Mercury retrograde periods, even though annoying and extremely frustrating at times, are actually a very beneficial thing, especially for those who were strong and fearless enough to dig deep down, as we need to validate, or in some cases invalidate, actions and situations gone awry and deal with them in order to finally release them to produce a calmer, positive and more productive state of mind thus allowing us to move forward to bring about greater personal and spiritual growth !!! ... again, if you've had a natal chart done, you should look to see in which house or houses containing 8 DEGREES 55 MINUTES LIBRA back to 24 DEGREES 11 MINUTES VIRGO fall to determine what issues you may have had to deal with in the areas of life governed by those houses ??? ... how many of you went with the flow and how many of you tried to swim upstream in the raging current of Cosmic confusion ???



Of course the recurring question we may find ourselves asking now that Mercury is back in direct motion is "WHY" ??????? ...What actions did you take yourself or have taken against you that you or the other person may now be regretting ... or you may be simply wondering why you chose to do what you did or why you were the victim of a particular course of action from other(s), and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer ...  or perhaps you are simply now trying to figure out why it even happened ???

Relationships may have come to an end - some needed to and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things during this period ...  how many of you had relationship issues surface or resurface - extremely likely in a Mercury retrograde especially with the first part occurring in the sign of Libra - that you thought surely had been resolved or didn't even realize existed ???  ... how many of you began new actions within a relationship, personal or professional without waiting for the retrograde period to conclude ??? ... AND ... how many of you got married ??? 




Did anyone make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action or that you are beginning to regret or will do so in the days ahead especially with this retrograde period in the sign of Libra ruled by Venus which concerns monetary earning and spending as well as personal values ??? ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made especially with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" and rational decision making isn't always so sharp !!!




So now that the mental processing facilities are no longer going backwards - at least for most of us if you know what I mean - in regard to Mercury and its functions, it's time to finally RELEASE these emotional holds and allow ourselves to move forward with our lives ... let go of what is best left in the past so you can achieve greater personal and spiritual growth !!!

While retrograde in Libra, Mercury retrograde challenged us to mainly address our relationships and partnerships both public and private  ... and it wouldn't be out of the question that the need may have arisen to address personal values and our monetary situation with Venus ruling Taurus as well even though the retrograde was not in that sign !!! ... how many lost jobs or had significant salary cutbacks ??? ... and because Mercury rules communications, it shouldn't have come as a surprise that people seem to lose their manners and tact which is what usually occurs during a Venus retrograde !!!

Mercury retrograding in the sign of Libra also had the potential to bring into focus the areas of life ruled by Venus as well as 7th house matters and also the potential to pull in 2nd house matters as Venus naturally rules these two houses of the horoscope ... so issues could have arisen regarding art, culture, possessions, partners, beauty, charm, good taste, sweets and sugar, harmony, singing, drama, music, emotional contacts, tenderness, moral character, marriage and unions of all kinds, pleasure and appreciation - all things ruled by Venus !!!

There could have been issues in regards to financial affairs, possessions (excluding real estate), investments, earning power, gains or losses through your own efforts, inner talents and resources, your need for fulfillment, your emotional feelings, your sense of self-worth, sense of values, personal liberty and material debt - all matters represented by the 2nd house !!!

But there was the greatest potential for issues to arise regarding business and marital partnerships/relationships, marriage, divorce, contracts, lawsuits, agreements, dealings with the public, open enemies, cooperation or lack thereof with other people, addressing what you most lack in yourself,  grandparents, and any people who act as your agent or on your behalf - all matters represented by the 7th house which is the specific sign on the house Venus naturally rules where this Mercury retrograde took place !!!

In regards to overall health, remember Mercury is the natural planetary ruler of the 6th house which rules health and nutrition, among other things, so there could have been more potential to have health issues in general during this Mercury retrograde  ... while retrograde in Libra there could have been issues with the throat, chin, cheeks or sense of taste, areas ruled by Venus, and the kidneys which are ruled by Libra !!!

On Friday, September 23rd, Mercury returned to the sign of Virgo ... Mercury retrograding in Virgo could certainly have given rise to issues regarding daily work and service, health and nutrition, and possibly family issues ... as Virgo rules the intestinal area in the body, there could easily have been issues there as well in addition to other health issues that might arise as Mercury naturally rules the 6th house which includes health and nutrition !!!



As Mercury retrogrades in Virgo, Mercury in Virgo already "slows" down the mental process with Virgo being an Earth sign, and adding retrograde energy to it can just complicates matters where there is already the tendency to over analyze everything down to the last detail !!!! ... As Virgo is the natural ruler of the 6th house of the horoscope, one might also have encountered issues regarding employment, employees, tenants, servants, pets, dependents, service given to others, routine matters, your clothes and how you wear them, hygiene, interest in food and ones diet, sickness and all conditions affecting your health ... the 6th house also relates to ones aunts and uncles, self-adjustments and ones unconscious mind ... it is important to note that in the 6th house, work and health are linked together !!! 

Gemini and Virgo born, yet another period of review and reflection for you has come to an end

especially in regards to actions taken since June 3rd when Mercury last stationed back into direct motion ... how have you been enlightened and how was your life affected by having your ruling planet Mercury retrograde ... your ruling planet now resumes forward motion and much to your delight so will you - even though you were probably trying to do it during the actual retrograde ... right, of course right - in fact many of us were doing the same thing !!!

Those of you born between September 10th and October 1st definitely got Mercury retrograde energy in their birthday (solar return) chart for the whole year ahead ... those born on September 9th and October 2nd may or may not have gotten this backward energy depending on the time of your solar return !!! ... below is a repeat explanation of what it means to have Mercury Retrograde for the whole year in your birthday chart:



The significance of having Mercury retrograde in your yearly birthday chart or, as we refer to it in Astrology, a Solar Return, is summed up below by Mary Fortier Shea in her book titled "Planets in Solar Return" :



"A Solar Return is the time every year that the Sun returns to the same degrees and minutes it was at when you were born - all the more reason to know your birth time now isn't it, hmmmmm????? ... a new chart is run for you at the time your solar return occurs in that given year and it is run for wherever you are at the precise time of your solar return ... this produces a new horoscope chart which shows what energy you may or may not run into for the year ahead - that is from the current birthday until next years birthday ... its energy can be felt from one to three months out before the actual solar return occurs .... often people will relocate for the return time in order to get a particular energy in their solar return chart !!!



Mercury is usually retrograde in a solar return chart every six years ... during this time it's best to be introspective ... you should be learning and thinking on your own rather than depending on others ... the mind is like an overstuffed drawer seriously in need of re-filing and reorganization ... in other words the time has come to "process" !!!



The mental processes are not very receptive to new information at this time ... it's time to go back and re-examine and review things in your life which may have been started but not carried through to fruition or maybe interrupted and suddenly abandoned for some reason ... by focusing inward you might be able to see that your own opinions, thoughts and decisions work best for you rather than those made by others ... at the same time be very receptive to the feedback others are giving you especially if you have missed the mark in regard to some endeavor !!!




Another side effect of this energy is secretiveness where you decide to withhold information or sometimes outright lie ... and why ??? .. because you have secrets that need to be kept or else were you to express your opinions and thoughts outwardly it could cause tension in your relationships ... have plenty of ice cream around to soothe the tongue you are most likely going to have to bite frequently this year !!!



This is a great year to keep a journal and put your thoughts down on paper and also to write original material ... sometimes you can see things differently when thoughts and ideas are written down which is a very helpful way to get organized ... this is a year where you will probably realize old opinions and beliefs are now outdated thus encouraging you to reassess your thinking, reformulate previously developed ideas, and shed new light on something on some level of your life that needs to be addressed !!!



It doesn't really have to be a bad year ... done wisely, fast forwarding to the past and clearing out the "clutter", you can propel yourself further ahead in life than you originally may have thought !!! "

Mercury now moves forward to conclude its full transit through Virgo which began back on August 4th and will end on October 10th ... Mercury will exit its retrograde zone on October 17th when it returns to 8 degrees 55 minutes Libra the point where it began this retrograde period !!!

Mercury remains in direct motion until December 29th when it begins its final retrograde journey for 2022 lasting until January 18th completely in the sign of Capricorn, and which will be embedded in the final 15 days of the upcoming Mars retrograde ... AND ... speaking of the upcoming Mars retrograde, it is important to note it will be completely in the sign of Gemini going from 25 DEGREES 36 MINUTES back to 8 DEGREES 8 MINUTES GEMINI !!! ... and why might this be significant ??? ... because Mercury is the natural ruler of Gemini ... so the question becomes will it be like yet another Mercury retrograde especially with the final retrograde of this year being completely embedded in it - do we get double the confusion and disorientation ??? ... thus the need to suggest proceeding cautiously  even though Mercury has resumed direct motion !!!

For now, move forward and try to find ways to be grateful and thankful for all that you are blessed with even though there may be some difficult challenges occurring as well ... the Universe never lets us have anything "perfect" or "for free" because we are supposed to be in a constant state of enlightenment and illumination promoting personal and spiritual growth !!!

REALIZING RELATIONSHIPS ULTIMATELY PROSPER ON LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING OF BOTH THE BEST AND THE WORST !!!

Venus began its "loving" transit through the charming, sociable sign of Libra on Thursday, September 29th, at 3:49 AM EDT ... Venus is very much at home here - considered to be in dignity - as this is one of the two signs it naturally rules - the other being Taurus ... Venus was last in Libra from August 16th through September 10th, 2021 ... anything come to mind during that roller coaster ride of emotions, relationships and possibly financial issues ???
