Mercury completed its retrograde journey earlier this evening,9/12, and stationed back into direct motion at 7:09 PM EDT - HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... time to ease back into the forward swing of things on many levels ... over the next few days to the next few weeks or even months, there may be some "a-ha" lights coming on in regard to decisions made during the retrograde period from 8/20 through today 9/12 and possibly as far back as 7/31 when Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it would come out of the retrograde journey this evening which was at 5 degrees of Virgo ...
What actions did you take or were taken against you in regard to daily work and service, health and nutrition or possibly family matters that you may be regretting or simply wondering why you chose or were the victim of that particular course of action, and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer or are simply now wondering why it happened ???? .... did you make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action ??? ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved .... relationships may have come to an end - some needed to and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things at this point ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" ... also, did you have to review and rethink your health and diet regimen or were you forced to take a good long look at what is going on in that area ??? ... some of you may have lost your jobs especially since Virgo is the natural ruler of the 6th house which indeed governs daily work and service ...
Now there may be a few instances where nothing really major happened rather only minor annoyances ... those of you born with your natal Sun between 5 and 19 degrees of Virgo may also have had something significant occur during this retrograde as Mercury passed back over your natal Sun ... (hint: if you have, or have not, had a natal chart run that means your birthday falls roughly between 8/28 and 9/13 ... also any new beginnings made and contracts signed during the retrograde period may not pan out in the end as the energy simply won't be supported ... new jobs begun or accepted during the retrograde period may not prove to be what they were supposed to be or completely fall apart ...
Mercury in Virgo already "slows" down the mental process with Virgo being an Earth sign, and adding retrograde energy to it just complicates matters ... there could have been issues with the digestive/intestinal processes as these are the anatomical areas of the body Virgo rules ... of course Gemini and Virgo born your period of review and reflection is over once again so you may start your engines and continue your quest - in fact we all can !!!
Mercury remains in the sign of Virgo until October 3rd - but not back up to full speed until 9/27 when it reaches the point at where the retrograde zone began which is 19 degrees of Virgo ... it will continue in direct motion until it begins its final retrograde journey for this year on December 10th.... we can all now take a deep breath and proceed to bust a move forward - just remember once again Mercury moving through Virgo is a slower moving mental processing capacity so don't try moving on too far too fast to begin with until Mercury gets out of the retrograde zone on the 27th of this month, and keep in mind there is another major shift of energy coming up in a few days, that being Pluto stationing back into direct motion - which could really add fuel to the fire of the energy shift !!!

WHY IN THE WORLD DID I DO THAT ???
Whether we like it or not - NOT !!!! - Mercury is set to begin it's next RETROGRADE journey for this year in less than 1 hour today, August 20th, at 3:59 PM EDT .... if you've been following my blogs, then you know pretty much what to expect during a Mercury Retrograde - as always ... EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!! ... and this Mercury retrograde period may prove a little more irritating since Mercury will be retrograding in a sign that it naturally rules !!! ... some of you may have noticed the energy beginning to move backwards already as Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it will come out of the retrograde on September 12th - on July 31st ... things somehow just don't seem to go right or as we planned and we often find ourselves re-doing things especially after Mercury stations back into direct motion .... Obviously comunications are going to be challenged both to and from others - partnerships and relationships often hit the skids during these periods ... it is NOT a good time to make major purchases - especially Cars, a big NO NO, computers or anything that involves electronics ... also purchasing homes can end up producing unforseen problems and even the contracts can have unexpected difficulties along the way or at closing especially if the closing takes place during the retrograde period .... it is also not a good idea to enter into contracts or start new jobs as they will most likely not pan out and end up being dead ends .... obviously one cannot put their life on hold, but if there is anyway to hold off on these things until Mercury turns direct, it would prove beneficial in the long run ... I have frequently found, though, that in some charts I've done, people born under a Mercury retrograde sometimes seem to thrive during these periods because they innately understand the backward energy and how to work with it ...
Mercury retrogrades are simply a time for reviewing and revision ... as the saying goes, "it might be a good idea to drop back and punt" !!! ... this entire Mercury retrograde journey will take place in the sign of Virgo - from 19 degrees back down to 5 degrees ... during a retrograde journey it can be said that we are in a mental "down time" and often things will not register on a conscious level with us ... it is said that the use of Mercury retrograde cycles are to reconnect the individual with the Universal rhythm ... Mercury retrograding in Virgo will certainly give rise to issues daily work and service, health and nutrition, and possibly family issues ... as Virgo rules the intestinal area in the body, there could easily be issues there as well ... this is NOT the time to make vast sweeping changes ... rather one should keep an eye open for possibilities that could prove more satisfying once the energy has returned back to direct motion ...

THE LITTLE FISHIES GET ONE LAST JOLT OF THE SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED !!!
Uranus - the planet known as the great awakener, the rebel, the planet of intuition and the sixth sense and sudden and unexpected change as well as revolutions and breakthroughs, radicals and radical ideas and behavior, the ruler of astrologers and inventors, and the planet closely associated with electricity, technology and electronics - is currently in its retrograde journey for this year and returned to the sign of Pisces yesterday evening, 8/13, at 11:31 PM EDT, for one final sweep to take care of last minute business in that sign ... just a reminder, where you find Uranus in your individual natal chart is usually where you tend to do the unusual and break from the norm ... BEAUTY & JUSTICE !!!
Venus gracefully began its transit through the charming, sociable sign of Libra on Friday, 8/06, at 11:48 PM EDT ...
