THE SOCIAL MOVER AND SHAKER - GENTLE AS A LAMB OR MAD AS A HORNET ???

MARS - began its fiery, passionate transit through the romantic, sociable sign of Libra today, October 4th, at 12:22 AM EDT ... Libra is ruled by Venus the planet of love and relationships !!! ... Mars was last in Libra from October 22 through December 9th, 2017 ... think back to that time period as to what was going on and be prepared as similar issues have the potential to arise once again especially if they were not properly addressed or handled incorrectly during that period !!!



Mars is said to be in "detriment" in the sign of Libra as this is the sign directly opposite the one it rules which is Aries ... Mars is therefore like a guest in someone else's "house" and must conform to their rules !!! ... Normally air (Libra) gives life to fire (Mars), but for all of its robust energy, Mars here can easily get out of control rather quickly !!! ... and it should be no surprise that Mars sometimes has  trouble operating in the sign of Libra because its need for direct action is limited by the need for approval and cooperation of others !!!

PLUTO - planet, dwarf planet, etc., take your pick  - associated with death, rebirth, transformation, change, upheaval, healing and renewal - completed its retrograde journey for 2019 today, Thursday, October 3rd, at 2:37 AM EDT ... Pluto has been in retrograde motion since April 24th going from 23 degrees 9 minutes Capricorn back down to 20 degrees 38 minutes Capricorn and there undoubtedly has been a lot of reexamination on many levels of changes both we as individuals and as a society have been involved in !!!



Now that Pluto is stationing back into direct motion, things could start to surface that we may have been seeking information about ... secrets will surely begin to be exposed and those involved will most likely be brought into public awareness even if they did not want their questionable actions to see the light of day!!! ... during the retrograde period we have all been trying to understand how we individually impact the Earth and other people as well ... Pluto is getting close to finishing its transit through the sign of Capricorn ... there are definitely going to continue to be issues arising concerning big business, the economy and governmental policy changes that affect everyone !!!




Pluto tends to expose the "dark side" of things and bring it into the light even when it is not what some would like ... we are  currently witnessing what could be referred to as the shakedown of governmental lawbreakers as well as intense scrutiny of the very process of the way the government is functioning - or not !!! ... also people are empowering themselves to make authority serve the true needs of all people and the planet as well !!!

There are two groups of people that are most likely feeling the effects of this powerful shift even though we all will on some level in our lives ... Scorpio born individuals, this is your ruling planet so now it's time to come out of your period of review and reflection which began around April 24th and start implementing changes or be prepared for change and transformation !!!



My fellow Capricorn individuals, we are going through massive personal change, upheaval, transformation and even healing and "rebirth" as this energy is making an added impact for us since Pluto is moving through our birth sign, the transit actually beginning in January of 2008, and will not complete its transit through our sign until 2024 due to its lengthy retrograde journeys and slow movement - after all it takes about 248 years to complete one journey around the zodiac !!!



In fact during this transit, Pluto has either crossed over or will be crossing over, or be conjunct as we refer to it, at some point your natal Capricorn Sun placement at birth with the potential to bring vast sweeping changes to your life ... and it is very important that you do something NOW during this transit in order to move forward productively on your path in life ... the changes may be difficult and challenging but should not be feared as they are necessary and will bring about the birth of something new in your life that will be beautiful and remarkable !!!



For those of you who have had a natal chart done and know in which house 20 degrees 38 minutes Capricorn falls, you most likely will feel some kind of power shift or impact in that area of your life from Pluto stationing back into direct motion ... in fact, it's intensity has really been building since roughly August 25th when Pluto reentered the 20 degree area where it would eventually station direct !!!



Pluto remains in direct motion until April 25th, 2020 when it begins its next retrograde journey at 25 degrees Capricorn going back to 22 degrees 29 minutes Capricorn !!!



We all should now be prepared for an outward upheaval, tearing down, death - not necessarily always physical, rebirth, transformation, change and even the potential for deep healing somewhere in our lives and/or within society - understanding not only that this process is absolutely necessary for personal as well as spiritual growth, but more importantly we should always be prepared to expect the  unexpected !!!



And now that Pluto has completed its retrograde journey for 2019 and begins its forward motion, things may truly once again begin to SHAKE ... RATTLE ... AND ROLL !!!

MERCURY begins its transit through the dark, brooding sign of Scorpio tomorrow, Thursday, October 3rd, at 4:15 AM EDT ... Mercury was last in Scorpio from October 9th through December 12th, 2018 due to its final retrograde journey for 2018 and the same lengthy transit will occur again this year but this time the final retrograde journey will be entirely in the sign of Scorpio !!!



Mercury in Scorpio is intense, probing and filled with boundless determination ... this is the placement of the natural born detective always wanting to get to the bottom of things and ferret out information and hidden motives ... it loves tuning into underlying messages ... communication is usually done very passionately and intensely ... a lot of messages are delivered non verbally ... intimate bonds are frequently formed through ones communications ... superficiality is not tolerated ... what is spoken emanates from the depth of ones psyche !!!

Mercury will not complete its full transit through Scorpio until December 9th due to its final retrograde journey for 2019 which begins on October 31st - no doubt this final retrograde period will be full of more tricks than treats !!! ... Mercury will get no further than 27 degrees 38 minutes Scorpio on the 31st when it stations retrograde ... it will retrograde back to 11 degrees 35 minutes Scorpio where it will station direct on November 20th  - something to be "thankful" for at that time !!!



Keep in mind as powerful and provocative as this transit has the potential to be, it may become even more so as Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, stations back into direct motion roughly two hours before Mercury enters Scorpio ... so there is the potential for a lot of information to come up from the depths and see the light of day of which some people will not be happy about !!! ... and then there is the possible havoc potentially created when Mercury stations retrograde coupled with Pluto direct ... and lets not forget Venus will enter the picture on the 8th moving into Scorpio and Mars will enter Libra, ruled by Venus, on Friday, October 4th ... so we will essentially have Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto in a "relationship" of planetary energy that could become quite the roller coaster ride especially with relationships both personal/pubic and private/professional ... and let's not forget about the ramifications this energy has on our personal values and our financial status ... it's anyone's guess as to how this will have played out by December 9th when Mercury finally exits Scorpio ... oh what a tangled web the Universe weaves !!!



Now is an excellent time for a good mystery, to dig down and uncover the true facts, and for each one of us to take a crack at being a super sleuth !!!

In the end, we may find that what we uncover proves to be something much more than simply being "elementary my dear Watson" as we ultimately may discover - WHAT LIES BENEATH !!!

THE UNIVERSAL TASKMASTER RESUMES ITS LESSONS OUTWARDLY !!!

SATURN - the planet representing authority figures, discipline, effort, sense of order, limitations, the urge for safety and security, tests us by placing obstacles and restrictions in our lives, shows what we are unsure of or truly fear, known as FATHER TIME, and most notoriously known for being the celestial taskmaster teaching us the lessons we must learn in life - stationed back into direct motion Wednesday, September 18th, at 4:47 AM EDT ... these lessons we MUST learn through the obstacles we often encounter sometimes are easier but more frequently become extremely challenging and difficult on our journey through this life in order to make us slow down so we can build strong foundations and structures in our lives that are on solid ground !!!

While Saturn has been in retrograde motion since April 29th of this year, hopefully we have all been reviewing and trying to restructure systems, programs, organizations, corporations and rules that will allow them to function more efficiently ... we also were given the time and opportunity, if we used it wisely, to become more aware of our own personal authority and power and determine whether or not it fits within society or is actually undermining us and needs adjustment on some level ... in addition, we all should have been reviewing whether or not societies rules and policies are helping to give us needed structure or limiting us in some way thus preventing further personal and spiritual growth !!!

Now that Saturn has resumed direct motion, we should begin to be better able to see where we stand and thus continue building even more secure structures and foundations in our lives individually and as a society as well ... no doubt we may have encountered limitations or restrictions either self imposed or imposed by authority figures during this retrograde period ... and perhaps now the Universe will even throw in yet another road block or two our way to make us realize whether or not we made good use of this retrograde period !!!




This Saturn retrograde period, which began back on April 29th, occurred from 20 degrees 31 minutes Capricorn back down to 13 degrees 55 minutes Capricorn ... if you know in your natal chart in which house or houses these degrees fall, then you may understand where in your life this Saturn retrograde was making its impact - especially if it made any aspects to your natal planets as well as your natal angles - cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses ... Saturn has been at the 13 degree mark of Capricorn since September 8th and was at an astrological "standstill" around 13 degrees 55 minutes Capricorn since September 13th yielding the potential for that to have been a very challenging period for many people !!! 

My fellow Capricorns, this was our yearly period of review, self-introspection, and rethinking of what has transpired in our lives especially from September 6th, 2018 until April 29th of this year !!!




Saturn is currently transiting through Capricorn with Pluto - a lot of heavy duty energy requiring us to become practical, responsible and grounded !!! ... Saturn remains in direct motion until May 11th, 2020 ... Saturn will complete its full transit through the sign of Capricorn on December 17th, 2020 !!!





Saturn now moves forward to continue its transit through Capricorn which it began back on December 19th, 2017 ... this is the sign that it naturally rules and is therefore considered to be in dignity and operating very powerfully ... Saturn in Capricorn is all about organizing ,,, this placement frequently gives rise to desire for power, prestige and some kind of authority ... it is considered to be an excellent placement for those interested in politics, business, science or any kind of career that brings public acclaim and recognition ... after all, Capricorn is the natural ruler of the 10th house which is concerned with career and public image !!!

Time for me to once again reiterate a worthwhile observation of mine - as a Capricorn born who will be ruled lifelong by Saturn, I can say that from personal experience the transits of Saturn aren't always a bad thing that should be dreaded ... while its actions can be difficult and challenging, Saturn's main objective is to help us grow and become a better, more highly functional and successful person by finding the courage deep from within to take a serious and honest look at where we are versus where we should be going ... and this is done by making sure our foundations in life are always strong, solid and secure !!!

Venus was last in Libra from August 6th through December 12th, 2018 ... yes a longer transit than usual, but Venus took a retrograde journey last year, and even though it actually completed its original transit through Libra, due to the retrograde returned to Libra and had to transit forward back out once direct ... anything come to mind during that roller coaster ride of emotions, relationships and possibly financial issues during that period ???
