The SUN began its patient, responsible transit through the steady, MOST FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, HONORABLE, CHERISHED, HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE, EFFICIENT, IN OTHER WORDS - NUMERO UNO BABY - SIGN OF THE ZODIAC - CAPRICORN, today, December 21st, at 10:59 AM EST!!! ... OK, so this happens to be my birth sign, BUT ... once again, WHO'S doing the blogging here - un-huh ??? ... I believe that allows me to embellish ever so slightly and I think my fellow Cappies would most heartily agree even though we can often be quite reserved !!! ... Old man winter has come to call, however for those in the Southern hemisphere Summer has begun and the heat is on ... the light-hearted, fun loving fiery energy of Sagittarius is now replaced with the slower earth bound energy dedicated to manifesting ones ambition into reality !!! ... we now turn our attention to focus on practical matters and attempt to go into the New Year with a firm resolution ready to be productive and successful !!!

Capricorn is the 10th sign of the natural zodiac and represents the beginning of the Winter season - at least in the Northern hemisphere ... it's the shortest day of the year and now the days begin to get longer as the "light" returns !!! ... with the Sun in Capricorn we need to 'shine' through responsibility, in a traditional manner, in seeking attention through authority or authorities, and in our public image and/or careers !!!

Venus spends the least amount of time in retrograde motion out of all of the planets ... within its 584-day cycle, Venus stations retrograde roughly every 18 months for a period of about 6 weeks ... it was last retrograde from May 13th through June 25th, 2020 also along with a Mercury retrograde briefly embedded in it like this time around - what was going on in your life during that period that may have had to do with anything mentioned in this blog specific to a Venus retrograde that has now resurfaced for review and rethinking or simply falls apart or must be released ??? ... there is a good chance that any partnership/relationship, especially of the romantic variety, begun during that last retrograde period has now come to a point where it is time to let go and move on !!! ... in fact, ever since Venus entered its shadow point back on November 17th, issues could have begun to arise foreshadowing what was to come during this retrograde period ... especially issues that may have plagued a particular relationship on and off since Venus stationed back into direct motion on June 25th, 2020, or perhaps issues that have surfaced in partnerships/relationships that have been ignored even if the relationship was not begun during that particular Venus retrograde period !!!

Even though we will all be impacted on some level of our lives by the Venus retrograde, the following signs may feel its impact even more personally - Taurus and Libra born as this is your ruling planet, and Capricorn born which obviously is the sign in which the retrograde occurs this time around !!!

No doubt my fellow Capricorns and I will come up with some truly scathingly brilliant ideas as it passes through our birth sign and eventually transits over our natal Sun placement ... perhaps during this lengthy back and forth transit of Mercury many of us may find ourselves summing it up by the very well known phrase made famous from the television series Dragnet - "JUST THE FACTS MA'AM" !!! 

DISTANT PLACES AND TRAVEL, ESPECIALLY FOREIGN, AND THE ADVENTURE AND EXCITEMENT THEY PROVIDE BECKON LOUDLY !!!

MARS began its transit through the adventurous, freedom loving sign of Sagittarius today, December 13th, at 4:53 AM EST ... Mars was last in Sagittarius from January 3rd through February 16th, 2020 ... Sagittarius being a fire sign means Mars can be extremely happy here and work very efficiently ... BUT ... there is the potential for it to be very productive or very destructive depending on how the energy is put to use ... if not careful we can push forward so hard we end up running out of steam before we are finished with our quest !!!

Mars in Sagittarius is an "exploring energy"!!! ... it believes life is far too short to tie up ones energy in one place for too long ... this energy can make one naturally optimistic, confident, extroverted and humorous ... freedom and expanded horizons are an absolute must here!!! ... there is a spontaneous inclination towards athletics, philosophy, education, adventure, exploration or anything that seeks MORE of life and what lies beyond ... identity is tied to beliefs and values ... often what you want is guided by your faith which ultimately determines your goals in addition to your morality ... there is decisive action in the pursuit of your vision for the future or a personal aspiration ... often sexual drive and physical energy is fed by adventurous activities ... excitement, risks, movement and exploration are what Mars in Sagittarius thrives on !!!

Neptune has been retrograde since June 25th of this year, and therefore requiring all of us to go inward and seek to attempt to tune into the collective unconscious and try to understand how our fears, illusions, confusion, or personal spiritual journey are connected into the energy of what is happening with humanity ... This retrograde journey of Neptune occurred from 23 degrees 11 minutes Pisces back down to 20 degrees 24 minutes  Pisces ... if you've had a natal chart done, you might find this was a sensitive point in your chart in regards to Neptune and its retrograde ... and especially sensitive is wherever 20 degrees 24 minutes Pisces falls as Neptune stationed at that degree and takes a few days to exit that degree ... many may have felt confused, foggy, listless or even completely drained of energy when Neptune began stationing at the 20 degree mark of Pisces beginning around October 15th and slowing down at the 20 degree 24 minute mark of Pisces since approximately November 25th !!!
