SEEKING SPIRITUAL, MYSTICAL ENLIGHTENMENT FROM WITHIN !!!

 

NEPTUNE - planet of the spiritual, universal, ethereal, mysterious, mystical, enlightenment, psychic, delusional, imagination, escape, surrender, sacrifice, artistic inspiration, musical ability, glamour, fantasy, romantic love, dissolving, uplifting, confusing, consoling, undermining, drugs and alcohol - began its retrograde journey for 2022 on Tuesday, June 28th, at 3:55 AM EDT ... this retrograde period will go from 25 degrees 26 minutes Pisces back to 22 degrees 38 minutes Pisces - a period of about 158 days !!!

One of the main purposes of Neptune retrograde is to not just have blind faith ... be it personal spiritual quests or the "collective" quest of society, Neptune retrograde energy means a reexamination of hopes and beliefs ... we may all need to individually question and test all aspects of faith - in fact many may experience some kind of crisis of faith during this period ... we begin to question and develop objectivity in regards to the intangibles of life such as truth, fear, hope and inspiration ... when Neptune is retrograde it is closest to the Earth making its function even more intensified !!!

Mercury began its initial transit through Gemini back on April 29th but go no further than 4 degrees 52 minutes Gemini when it began its second retrograde journey for 2022 back on May 10th which was a dual sign retrograde going from Gemini back to the late degrees of Taurus ... Mercury went back into Taurus on May 22nd where it remained until the completion of its retrograde journey on June 3rd ... below is a reminder of how the energy of Mercury in Gemini may manifest should you nee a "re-fresher" course !!!

Mercury is very much at home here and functions well not only because this is an air sign, but it is also considered to be in dignity as this is one of the two signs Mercury naturally rules - the other sign being Virgo ... the "windmills of your mind" are definitely going to probably be spinning into overdrive potentially producing numerous scathingly brilliant ideas and plans you want to take action on ... SATURN - the planet representing the urge for security and safety, that is also known as the taskmaster teaching us the lessons we must learn in life, shows us what we are unsure of or truly fear, and forces us to find the means to acquire discipline, effort and sense of order so that we may overcome limitations and obstacles, and most importantly known as Father Time - began its RETROGRADE journey for 2022 on Saturday, June 4th, at 5:47 AM EDT ... this Saturn retrograde period goes from 25 DEGREES 15 MINUTES AQUARIUS back to 18 DEGREES 35 MINUTES AQUARIUS ... if you've had a natal chart done, then you know in what area or areas of your life, depending on whether or not this retrograde period will take place in one or two houses in your natal chart, Saturn has, and will continue for a while longer, be making you focus your attention on to improve and make sure your foundations are more secure and solid !!!



The main objective of a transiting Saturn retrograde is RESTRUCTURING, if necessary, our foundations to make sure they are strong and solid ... since Saturn is the planet which represents systems and organizations,  during its retrograde period the time has come to re-examine these areas and find ways to improve them and elevate them to a higher level of efficiency ... it  is now time for every one of us to restructure systems, programs,  organizations, and even rules in order to make them function more productively  ... processes and policies will all benefit from re-examination during this period even though it may not always be easy but very challenging as well as frustrating !!!



Saturn is currently transiting through the sign of Aquarius which it began back on March 21st, 2020 ... Saturn in Aquarius is all about combining traditional values with new age related insights and ideas ... its a placement that yields the potential for a well organized mental concentration ... here the concern for impartial truth is highly pursued ... it also has the potential to give a sense of justice and and responsibility in relationships ... it gives a heightened ability to visualize form and structure and can yield great mathematical ability !!!

My fellow Capricorns, this begins our yearly period of review and self introspection as this is our ruling planet ... what has been going on in your life since Saturn stationed back into direct motion back on October 11th, 2021 ???  ... what have you been working on and possibly rebuilding and restructuring that now needs some re-examination and reevaluation to determine whether or not you are on the right track to produce the desired results you are working towards ??? ... or what did you start working on during the last Saturn retrograde period - May 23rd through October 11th , 2021 - that now MUST be addressed and either improved upon or simply let go of in order to facilitate personal and spiritual growth ??? ... this applies to everyone as well ... it would also be fair to say that everyone is "revisiting" and possibly having to rework actions occurring from February 22nd up until Saturday, June 4th of this year, with Saturn stationing retrograde as these are the degrees it will go back over in this retrograde period of Saturn ... Saturn has been almost stationary at the 25 degree mark of Aquarius since approximately May 18th, and many of you may have felt the impending pressure of it going retrograde by experiencing some form of heightened restriction and limitation somewhere in your life ... especially where 25 degrees of Aquarius falls in your natal chart which is where you might feel the most impact in regards to the area of life ruled by that house ... another good reason it is so important to have a natal chart done by a reputable Astrologer !!!

Usually people are not very happy when Saturn comes into the picture to teach us and make us learn life lessons that often are very daunting and difficult, but we native Capricorns understand how hard Saturn's "weight" which can bear down on us ... so its retrograde journey each time becomes an opportunity for everyone else to feel and hopefully come to understand what we have to live with all of our life ... challenging - you bet !!! ... and no one would ever say it is an easy task, but the potential for rewards are unlimited if you open your eyes, ears and hearts, allow the universe to lead the way and be willing to go the distance ... after all, if you don't learn the first time, you can make sure the Universe will bring the lessons back around again, and the next time they may end up being even more difficult to deal with in your life !!!

Saturn retrogrades roughly every 12 1/2 months for a period of about 4 1/2 months ... Saturn remains retrograde until October 22nd/23rd depending on which time zone in which you live ... indeed Saturn teaches every one of us different but difficult lessons in life ... but if you keep your feet firmly planted and try to stay positive and understand that the "light at the end of the tunnel" usually signifies greater personal as well as spiritual growth, you will definitely come through a much stronger person and better for the lessons you have taken seriously and made great personal effort to learn from ... you will definitely be better equipped to deal with life and its many challenges as well as being able to determine if you are truly standing on solid ground or teetering on faulty foundations that will eventually collapse beneath you creating who knows what kind of havoc in your life !!!

MERCURY - completed its second retrograde journey for 2022 and stationed back into direct motion today, June 3rd, at 4 AM EDT  - do I hear a BIG SIGH OF RELIEF out there ??? 

Hopefully, some of the disorientation, confusion, frustration and outright irritation along with the sudden and unexpected issues that may have been produced by this Mercury retrograde will now begin to clear and subside as it becomes time to move forward into the swing of things on all levels !!!

Over the next few days to the next few weeks or even months, there will undoubtedly be quite a few "a-ha" as well as "uh-oh" lights coming on in regard to decisions made or actions taken during the retrograde period from May 10th through June 3rd, and possibly as far back as April 26th when Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it would come out of this retrograde journey today at 26 degrees 5 minutes Taurus ... did issues and complications or questioning arise in regards to things done during the last retrograde period from January 14th through February 3rd ??? ... or maybe even as far back as the retrograde period from September 27th through October 18th, 2021 ??? ... or maybe from May 29th through June 22nd, 2021 ???

It's a sure bet that as Mercury moves forward once again crossing back over the degrees it covered during this retrograde period, issues may begin to arise potentially sooner than later in regards to whatever was going on the first time it crossed over the retrograde degrees - especially if it was making any aspect to your natal planets or one of the angles which are the cusp of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses !!! ... Mercury crossed over 26 degrees 5 minutes Taurus up to 4 degrees 52 minutes Gemini from April 26th up until May 10th, then went backwards over them during the retrograde, and now moves forward over them once again from June 3rd through June 18th  - the good old "scrubbing effect" as we sometimes like to refer to it in Astrology !!!

Mercury retrograde periods, even though annoying and extremely frustrating at times, are actually a very beneficial thing, especially for those who were strong and fearless enough to dig deep down, as we need to validate, or in some cases invalidate, actions and situations gone awry and deal with them in order to finally release them to produce a calmer, positive and more productive state of mind thus allowing us to move forward to bring about greater personal and spiritual growth !!! 

If you've had a natal chart done, you should look to see in which house or houses 4 degrees 52 minutes Gemini back to 26 degrees 5 minutes Taurus falls ... what kinds of issues, if any, did you have to  deal with in the areas of life governed by that house or in some cases those houses ??? ... how many of you went with the flow and how many of you tried to swim upstream in the raging current of Cosmic confusion ??? ... I heard from many people that this Mercury retrograde was particularly rough beginning in the sign of Gemini which is one of the sign Mercury naturally rules !!!

Of course the recurring question we may find ourselves asking now that Mercury is back in direct motion is "WHY" ??????? ...What actions did you take yourself or have taken against you that you or the other person may now be regretting. or you may be simply wondering why you chose to do what you did or why you were the victim of a particular course of action from other(s), and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer ...  or perhaps you are simply now trying to figure out why it even happened ???



Relationships may have come to an end - some needed to be released and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things during this period ...  how many of you had relationship issues surface or resurface - extremely likely in a Mercury retrograde - that you thought surely had been resolved or didn't even realize existed ???  ... or how many of you had one or more people come back through your life that you thought you had seen the last of or even forgot about and now most of them are gone or going once again ???  ... and how many of you began a new relationship, personal or professional, without waiting for the retrograde period to conclude ??? ... AND ... how many of you got married - OOPSIE  ???



Did anyone make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action or that you are beginning to regret or will do so in the days ahead ??? ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made especially with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved ... how many of you accepted or switched jobs during this retrograde period ??? ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" ... so now that the mental processing facilities are no longer going backwards - at least for most of us - in regard  to Mercury and its functions, it's time to finally RELEASE these emotional holds and allow ourselves to move forward with our lives ... let go of what is best left in the past so you can achieve greater personal and spiritual growth !!!

Mercury retrograding in the sign of Gemini yielded emphasis for us to rethink how we respond to life and how we relate - intellectually more so than emotionally ... and as Gemini is an air sign and rules the 3rd house which includes all forms of communication, you can bet these may have gotten crossed and misunderstood frequently especially as previously stated this is what normally gets affected in a Mercury retrograde regardless of the sign it is in ... with the keyword of the 3rd house being "AWARENESS", there could have been times when we seemed to be "lost in a fog" and not processing clearly ... along with communications, there could have been issues regarding your local environment, brothers and sisters, all means of transportation especially in relation to short trips, and the adaptability of ones mind to learn and understand new ideas ... Gemini is also a mutable sign and therefore Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces born could have felt more of an impact from this part of the retrograde as they are mutable signs ... and as Taurus is a fixed sign, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius could have felt more of an impact once Mercury returned to Taurus !!!

On May 22nd, Mercury retrograded back into Taurus ... certainly relationships could have been given a serious look ... there may have been some very deep and serious thinking and rethinking done here ... Mercury in Taurus already "slows" down the mental process with Taurus being an Earth sign, and adding retrograde energy to it can just complicate matters ... if you've had a natal chart done and know where 26 degrees 5 minutes up to 29 degrees 59 minutes degrees of Taurus lies in your chart, then you may now realize what the second part of this Mercury retrograde had in store for you or why certain events may have occurred !!!  

Taurus is the natural ruler of the 2nd house, a house of substance, of the horoscope ... as such, in addition to the usual suspects of a Mercury retrograde, there could have been the potential for issues regarding financial affairs, possessions (except real estate), investments, earning power, any gain or loss through your own effort, your inner talents and resources, your need for fulfillment, your emotional feelings, your sense of self-worth, your sense of values and your material debt !!!

Venus is the ruling planet of Taurus, so there could also have been issues arising as well in the areas of art, culture, aesthetics, partnerships - more in particular to personal ones, beauty, charm, good taste, sentimentality, sweets and sugar, poetry, paintings, jewelry, singing, drama, music, emotional contacts, moral character, marriages, unions of all kinds, sociability, disposition, luxuries, pleasures and appreciation !!!

In regards to overall health, remember Mercury is the natural planetary ruler of the 6th house which rules health, so there could have been more chances to have health issues in general during this Mercury retrograde ... in Gemini there could have been a better chance of health issues with the hands, arms, shoulders and lungs, and then when Mercury returned to Taurus  there could have been issues that arose with the throat and neck as these are the anatomical areas of the body Taurus rules !!!

A Mercury retrograde period is usually not a good time to have surgery as the healing process could be slowed down or there could be the chance of having to go back at a later date and take care of something that wasn't done correctly - especially in regards to cosmetic surgery ... how many of you had elective surgery, such as cosmetic surgery, etc. ??? ... was the outcome what you expected ??? ... hopefully things will work out so you don't have to go back again !!! ... as for emergency surgery, we have no control over that and trying to put that off might have produced catastrophic results !!!

Mercury remains in direct motion until September 9th when it begins its third retrograde journey for 2022 occurring from September 9th through October 2nd ... it will be another dual sign retrograde going from 8 degrees 55 minutes Libra back to 24 degrees 11 minutes Virgo ... Mercury enters its next shadow point on August 20th when it reaches 24 degrees 11 minutes Virgo !!!
