Mercury completed its final retrograde journey for 2010 early this morning, 12/30, and stationed back into direct motion at 2:21 AM EST - do I hear a BIG SIGH OF RELIEF out there ??? ... time to ease back into the forward swing of things on many levels ... over the next few days to the next few weeks or even months, there may be some "a-ha" lights coming on in regard to decisions made during the retrograde period from 12/10 through today 12/30 and possibly as far back as 11/22 when Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it would come out of the retrograde journey this evening which was at 19 degrees of Sagittarius ...
What actions did you take or were taken against you that you may now be regretting or simply wondering why you chose or were the victim of that particular course of action, and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer or are simply now wondering why it happened ???? .... did you make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action ??? ... a lot of you certainly did considering we just came through the Holiday shopping season !!! ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved .... relationships may have come to an end - some needed to and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things at this point ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" ... also, did any of you rethink your career status or did it change or perhaps do something to improve your public image or have something happen that changed it in some way ??? ... did anyone have their philosophies and religious/spiritual beliefs undergo change because they didn't seem to reflect your inner self anymore ??? ... and how many of you had travel plans fall apart, run into nasty delays or not turn out how you thought they would ???
Now there may be a few instances where nothing really major happened rather only minor annoyances ... those of you born with your natal Sun between 5 degrees of Capricorn back down to 19 degrees of Sagittarius may also have had something significant occur during this retrograde as Mercury passed back over your natal Sun ... (hint: if you have, or have not, had a natal chart run that means your birthday falls roughly between 12/09 and 12/27 ... also any new beginnings made and contracts signed during the retrograde period may not pan out in the end as the energy simply won't be supported ... new jobs begun or accepted during the retrograde period may not prove to be what they were supposed to be or completely fall apart ...
There could also have been issues with the bones, joints, knees, skeletal system and teeth - the areas of the body Capricorn rules, and the liver, hips and thighs - the areas of the body Sagittarius rules ... in addition, there could have been some kind of general health issues as Mercury is the natural ruler of the 6th house which governs health and nutrition ...
Mercury remains in the sign of Sagittarius until January 13th at which point it will re-enter the sign of Capricorn for its complete transit ... even though it is direct and that is a VERY goood thing, Mercury will not be back up to "full speed" until January 18th when it reaches the point at where the retrograde zone began on December 10th which is 5 degrees of Capricorn ... we can all now take a deep breath and proceed to bust a move forward ... and we get an added late Christmas present from the Universe - now that Mercury is back in direct motion, there is no other planet currently retrograde so we are entering the New Year with all the planetary energy moving forward for the first time since 1999 ... so celebrate the New Year coming in and know there is much work to be done with Universal support aplenty !!!

Fall came to a conclusion this evening,12/21, at 6:38 PM EST, as the Sun began its transit through the practical, hardworking sign of Capricorn - yeah!!! ... this is truly the most fabulous sign of the Zodiac - ok, so it happens to be my birth sign but who's doing the blogging here, and I believe that allows me to embellish ever so slightly!!!! ...

HO HO H-OHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!
Whether we like it or not - NOT !!!! - Mercury is set to begin it's fourth and final RETROGRADE journey for this year today, December 10th, at 7:06 AM EST .... if you've been following my blogs, then you know pretty much what to expect during a Mercury Retrograde - as always ... EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!! ... and this Mercury retrograde period may prove a little more irritating since Mercury will be retrograding during the Holiday shopping season !!! ... some of you may have noticed the energy beginning to move backwards already as Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it will come out of the retrograde on December 30th - on November 22nd ... things somehow just don't seem to go right or as we planned and we often find ourselves re-doing things especially after Mercury stations back into direct motion .... Obviously comunications are going to be challenged both to and from others - partnerships and relationships often hit the skids during these periods ... it is NOT a good time to make major purchases - especially Cars, a big NO NO, computers or anything that involves electronics - and you ask am I serious with everyone out Christmas shopping ??? ... also purchasing homes can end up producing unforseen problems and even the contracts can have unexpected difficulties along the way or at closing especially if the closing takes place during the retrograde period .... it is also not a good idea to enter into contracts or start new jobs as they will most likely not pan out and end up being dead ends .... obviously one cannot put their life on hold, but if there is anyway to hold off on these things until Mercury turns direct, it would prove beneficial in the long run ... I have frequently found, though, that in some charts I've done, people born under a Mercury retrograde sometimes seem to thrive during these periods because they innately understand the backward energy and how to work with it ...
Mercury retrogrades are simply a time for reviewing and revision ... as the saying goes, "it might be a good idea to drop back and punt" !!! ... this will be a dual sign Mercury retrograde journey and will take place in the sign of Capricorn, from 5 degrees, back down to 19 degrees of Sagittarius ... during a retrograde journey it can be said that we are in a mental "down time" and often things will not register on a conscious level with us ... it is said that the use of Mercury retrograde cycles are to reconnect the individual with the Universal rhythm ... Mercury retrograding in Capricorn will certainly give rise to issues concerning ones public image as well as/or career endeavors and your standing in the community, and then shift to issues concerning higher learning, personal beliefs, religion and philosophy, as well as ones dreams and visions in life when it backs into Sagittarius ... as Capricorn rules the bones, joints, knees, there could easily be issues there as well as with the teeth ... then there could be issues with the liver, hips and thighs when it backs into the sign of Sagittarius ... this is NOT the time to make vast sweeping changes ... rather one should keep an eye open for possibilities that could prove more satisfying once the energy has returned back to direct motion ...

Here is your Survival manual: Mercury retro always creates a repeating action. The Re-Words are common. Some re-words that you will notice during this time are:
Repeat – The action you are making during the RX period you will probably repeat again during the period or later.
Repair – The need for repair will arise. If possible, put if off until Mercury turns direct (December 30th).
Reverse - You will be amazed at how many times you change your mind or reverse your thinking during this time. Watch out for that racecar driver that is driving in reverse down the emergency lane on the freeway. Yikes!....
Recall - Your mind will wonder back. You will think of people from the past or you will encounter someone from the past. If old lovers show up, don't bet that it will stick. Believe me... it is just for a "review." (And if it does last, I want to be the first to know about it. E-mail me and let me know). And you know what, I wouldn't start a new romance during this period either - wait until after December 30th !!!
Review - If you are reading instructions, you may find it necessary to review repeatedly because they simply don't make sense. Sometimes the publisher has actually left out a step. It happens!
Regroup - In corporations, it is a common experience during the Rx to hear the boss say, 'Alright, we are going to rework this thing and get it right.' Later when the period is over, they go back to the old way doing things. It is a laugh a minute. Stand back and watch the comedy.
Reboot and Revise - The computer world is a definite place to watch the comedy. It is common for one to suddenly, without fore thought, decide to revise their system during the Rx. Oh! Mercy! That revised system may never function in the normal way. Oh, please! Do wait until the period is over. However, it is fine to do your shopping for the new components during the Rx. When you do go to purchase your parts after December 30th, you will find better deals and buys.
Return - Now here is a good one. You'll find that this period is a popular time for family or class reunions. Should you stay are home? Absolutely not! You go because this is a review that you don't want to miss. But funny thing is that in spite of the fact that you tell these people 'lets stay in touch' it will become lip service and you won't live up to your suggestion.
Rebirth – Often one will go back into the past and bring up old creative projects to work with during this time frame. Sometimes it sticks and sometimes it doesn't. Only you will be able to activate the discipline to keep it going once the retrograde period is over.
Recover - You can bet that you will dig into your files, boxes or storage to recover something that you need…you can also bet it won't be an easy find. It is likely that you will be looking for a legal document· While it is possible that you may not find what you are looking for, you may find something that you would like to put back in to use. Fun!
Re-examine – Well, just about everything. Smile.
Reduction – Over the years, I have been amazed at how many times a company or person decides to eliminate a job or to leave a job during the retrograde. It is my experience that a job changed during this period is 95% of the time regretted. Can you wait until the period is over, dear heart?
And so it is. Three times a year we live this cosmic "going to teach you patience routine". All and all when this retrograde period is over you may "Re alize" this simple truth: The flow of the universe is very, very interesting and it is going to have its way with us.

Here is your Survival manual: Mercury retro always creates a repeating action. The Re-Words are common. Some re-words that you will notice during this time are:
Repeat – The action you are making during the RX period you will probably repeat again during the period or later.
Repair – The need for repair will arise. If possible, put if off until Mercury turns direct (December 30th).
Reverse - You will be amazed at how many times you change your mind or reverse your thinking during this time. Watch out for that racecar driver that is driving in reverse down the emergency lane on the freeway. Yikes!....
Recall - Your mind will wonder back. You will think of people from the past or you will encounter someone from the past. If old lovers show up, don't bet that it will stick. Believe me... it is just for a "review." (And if it does last, I want to be the first to know about it. E-mail me and let me know). And you know what, I wouldn't start a new romance during this period either - wait until after December 30th !!!
Review - If you are reading instructions, you may find it necessary to review repeatedly because they simply don't make sense. Sometimes the publisher has actually left out a step. It happens!
Regroup - In corporations, it is a common experience during the Rx to hear the boss say, 'Alright, we are going to rework this thing and get it right.' Later when the period is over, they go back to the old way doing things. It is a laugh a minute. Stand back and watch the comedy.
Reboot and Revise - The computer world is a definite place to watch the comedy. It is common for one to suddenly, without fore thought, decide to revise their system during the Rx. Oh! Mercy! That revised system may never function in the normal way. Oh, please! Do wait until the period is over. However, it is fine to do your shopping for the new components during the Rx. When you do go to purchase your parts after December 30th, you will find better deals and buys.
Return - Now here is a good one. You'll find that this period is a popular time for family or class reunions. Should you stay are home? Absolutely not! You go because this is a review that you don't want to miss. But funny thing is that in spite of the fact that you tell these people 'lets stay in touch' it will become lip service and you won't live up to your suggestion.
Rebirth – Often one will go back into the past and bring up old creative projects to work with during this time frame. Sometimes it sticks and sometimes it doesn't. Only you will be able to activate the discipline to keep it going once the retrograde period is over.
Recover - You can bet that you will dig into your files, boxes or storage to recover something that you need…you can also bet it won't be an easy find. It is likely that you will be looking for a legal document· While it is possible that you may not find what you are looking for, you may find something that you would like to put back in to use. Fun!
Re-examine – Well, just about everything. Smile.
Reduction – Over the years, I have been amazed at how many times a company or person decides to eliminate a job or to leave a job during the retrograde. It is my experience that a job changed during this period is 95% of the time regretted. Can you wait until the period is over, dear heart?
And so it is. Three times a year we live this cosmic "going to teach you patience routine". All and all when this retrograde period is over you may "Re alize" this simple truth: The flow of the universe is very, very interesting and it is going to have its way with us.

Mercury remains retrograde until December 30th ... and it seems cosmically ironic that we should have begun and ended this year with a dysfunctional pair of book ends - namely two Mercury Retrogrades !!! ... so slow down and try not to act too impulsively or the day may come in the near future when you live to regret what you did ... as the Holidays are already stressful enough for so many people, and as people are rushing around trying to finish up everything for the big day, and while tempers flare and patience becomes scarce, perhaps the best gift we can each give ourselves this season is that of a sense of humor which will be called upon frequently as the Mercury Retrograde merrily wreaks havoc up until the end of the year !!!

WE WORK HARD FOR THE MONEY ... SO HARD FOR IT HONEY !!!
Mars began its transit through the responsible, hardworking sign of Capricorn this evening, 12/7, at 6:49 PM EST ... this Mars energy is absolutely all about getting the job done and doing so very thoroughly!!! ... there is great energy channeled into professional ambition here ... it is extremely materialistic ... desire for recognition and high status is very intense ... actions are usually well organized and very carefully calculated to achieve concrete results in terms of money and professional advancement ... as a result, many business executives are born with Mars in Capricorn or have Mars in the 10th house - the house of career and public image ...

SOMETHING ELECTRIC IN THE AIR !!!
... while it's true that the Holiday season has officially begun and with it comes a stir of anticipation and a childlike excitement that can feel like a highly charged electrical impulse running through your body, I would like to address another kind of "electrical impulse" that may be adding to the mix ... the planet Uranus completed its retrograde journey and stationed back into direct motion tthis evening 12/5, at 8:51 PM EST ...
Uranus is the planet representing sudden and unexpected change ... it is a shocker ... it gives flashes of insight, rebelliousness and originality ... it represents eccentricity, genius, inventiveness, revolution, intuition and the sixth sense, and everything that happens out of the blue!!! ... Uranus questions and challenges authority, and transcends business-as-usual social and cultural ideas to come to new solutions ... it absolutely insists on freedom but there is also an understanding here that freedom must be learned one step at a time!!! ... it rules electricity, technology, computers, and all things on the cutting edge ... most importantly - at least to me !!! - it is the planet that rules Astrology!!! ... while it is in retrograde motion, it's time for all of us to ask what changes are occurring in the world and how we are contributing to or working against these changes ... the ability to see the importance between your own personal changes and the ones occurring globally, and the conncetion between the two, becomes a strong focal point ...
Uranus has literally been slowing down to shift direction and remaining at 26 degrees of Pisces since November 8th, so it may have felt like there was an edginess and restlessness all month ... interestingly enough on December 1st it was, in an astrological viewpoint, literally vibrating at a stand still sending out its disruptive electrical energy ... when it turned direct today and for the next few days until we get used to the switch in motion, there could be sudden and unexpected occurrences or any of the above mentioned traits happening - has anything happened perhaps within the last week that was sudden and unexpected in some area of your life ??? ... or has anyone felt rather edgy and restless without really knowing why ??? ... now that Uranus is direct we can expect changes - it's time to start putting those changes in motion ...

JUST THE FACTS MA'AM !!!
Mercury began its "practical" transit through the sign of Capricorn yesterday evening, 11/30, at 7:11 PM EST ... this is the energy of a highly organized mentality ... it is a hard worker that stores up facts and figures for future practical use ... it is cautious and highly methodical as it knows what it wants and exactly how it plans to get it ... now we will really get down to some serious Holiday shopping and truly look for those hard to beat bargains ... the mind as well as the tongue are serious and sensible ... communication is made cautiously, and for those born with this energy in their youth there could be doubt as to ones mental ability therefore yielding a need to prove onesself as having a good mind ... there is sometimes this doubt associated with limited educational opportunities in childhood that may be overcome by further study in adulthood ... words here are usually not spoken until they are well thought out ... one can appear to be rather formal, authoritative, reserved and self-sufficient which can sometimes inhibit communications with others ... natural logic and cautious planning are oriented towards material success and/or personal responsibilities ... thinking is well-organized ... learning is achieved through persistence, dedication, and steady progress ... one might become a little pessimistic under this energy by mistakenly focusing on limits rather than potentials ... here we have a Mercury/Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) relationship that will ultimately give a very structured, organized and well thought out quality to the mind if there is no other energy adversely modifying it ...

LET YOUR LOVE FLOW !!!
Venus - the planet representing attraction, how you may give and/or receive love and affection, shows how each one of us perceives beauty and happiness, shows what we value and dictates our personal values, shows how you relate, how you create and appreciate harmony through social and artistic expression, and shows exactly what it is you like - completed its retrograde journey and turned back into direct motion this afternoon, 11/18, at 4:19 PM EST ...
As the weeks progress you may find little lights coming on in your mind as to decisions made in any of these areas since the retrograde period began on October 8th ... there are an abundance of possibilities within this scope ... a lot of people will realize that a significant partnership or relationship ended and some of you may now suddenly find yourself having changed your mind or questioning why you made that decision ... it is also possible the person may come back around and things might look entirely different ... however, if it was time for the relationship to end, then it must be let go of in order for you to grow and move forward ... for those of you who began significant new partnerships or relationships, especially of the romantic variety, you may discover that they will not have longevity as they were formed when the energy of love and relating was moving backwards ... time will tell ... marriages entered in to during these times often have an added sense of pressure - after all, Venus does naturally rule the 7th house of marriage and partnerships ... unfortunately, also in this economy, this could have been the period where quite a few of you actually lost your job and are now job hunting once again!!! ... and let's not forget this little item - how many of you ended up shelling out money on something you had no intention of spending money on??? ... For those of you who made significant costly purchases, especially of the luxury variety, you may find yourself wondering why you spent so much money or simply realize that what you thought you really desired doesn't hold much attraction (value) anymore or that you have overpayed for what you got ...
As Venus anatomically rules the throat, chin, cheeks and sense of taste, there could have been health issues arising in these areas of the body ... or some could have had to go back and re-address an old issue concerning these areas ... did anyone have cosmetic surgery during the last 6 weeks, hmmmm???? .. there is a chance that some of you who did may ultimately not be pleased with the results or feel that you didn't get the enhancement you sought and here too, feel you may have overpayed for the services rendered!!!
Everyone should try and think back to the period between March 6th and April 17th of 2009 ... is there something you may have begun in regards to any of the above mentioned areas Venus rules that became an issue for you during this Venus retrograde period from October 8th until today, November 18th??? ... it is very common for this to occur ... to that end, anything begun during this current Venus retrograde period that just ended may yield problems in the days, weeks and months ahead, or lie dormant until the next Venus retrograde period which begins in May 2012 ... in addition, anything begun from now until then is also fair game!
Taurus and Libra born individuals, your period of "hibernation" for reflection and review is now over and once again you start moving forward to pursue new avenues of personal growth and maturity ... there could have been some significant insight, if you were paying attention during the last 6 weeks, that enlightened you as to what, where or who was no longer serving you and was not truly reflecting who you are on the inside ... and this could also have been a possibility for all of us !!!

So now we have all had about 6 weeks to think about what we value and what represents our inward personal values outwardly to others, our money - how we earn it and how we spend it, and our partenrships and relationships both personal and professional ... how many of you got the "message" and how many of you remained complacent and unyielding and ignored the energy??? ... sometimes the Universe speaks to each one of us in a whisper, and sometimes it literally gets in our face and screams THERE WILL BE CHANGE!!! ... for now though, it's time to live, laugh and LOVE again!!!

AN UNQUENCHABLE THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE !!!

BOUNDLESS DETERMINATION !!!

WHERE LOVE HAS GONE ??????
