LEARNING BY GAINING AN OVERVIEW OF THE BIG PICTURE - KNOWLEDGE IS TRULY POWER !!!

MERCURY began its transit through the philosophical, visionary, idealistic, inspirational sign of Sagittarius Monday, December 9th, at 4:42 AM EST ... Mercury was last in Sagittarius from October 31st, 2018 through January 5th, 2019 ... a  longer than normal transit due to its final retrograde journey for 2018 but that will not be the same situation this year !!!



Mercury in Sagittarius is in a sign opposite to one of the signs it naturally rules - that being Gemini - and is therefore said to be in "detriment" ... it is considered less "visible", appearing to not operate at its usual full power, but not less effective though ... it is visiting a sign where it must conform to rules and regulations that it wouldn't normally have to do in certain other signs !!!



This Mercurial energy learns by gaining an overview of the Big Picture ... it wants to know everything !!! ... it can use way too many words and use great hand gestures sometimes knocking things over, and talk much too loudly at times !!!

MERCURY completed its third and final retrograde journey for 2019 back on Wednesday, November 20th, and stationed  back into direct motion at 2:12 PM EST at 11 degrees 35 minutes of Scorpio - do I hear a BIG SIGH OF RELIEF out there ??? ... of course I do especially as the height of the Holiday season is upon us and now that we are getting readjusted to things, well most things that is, and moving forward once again with no personal planet in retrograde motion !!! ... so you've had about three weeks now to process what may have occurred during the retrograde, or perhaps since Mercury entered its shadow point back on October 11th, and while it was moving forward to exit its retrograde zone which occurred this past weekend on December 7th ... what revelations have you had, either positive or challenging in regards to what you may have done while Mercury was revolving around those degrees forwards, then backwards and forward again as it crossed back over them ???




Hopefully, some of the disorientation, confusion, frustration and outright irritation along with the sudden and unexpected issues that may have been produced by this Mercury retrograde will now begin to clear and subside as it becomes time to move forward into the swing of things on all levels !!!

 Did any issues and complications or questioning arise in regards to things done during the last retrograde period from July 7th through July 31st ??? ... or maybe as far back as March 5th through March 28th  ??? ... and it's a sure bet that as Mercury moved forward once again crossing back over the degrees it covered during this retrograde period issues may have arisen already meaning things begun and actions taken are certainly subject to potential review and revision !!!




Mercury retrograde periods, even though annoying and extremely frustrating at times, are actually a very beneficial thing, especially for those who were strong and fearless enough to dig deep down, as we need to validate, or in some cases invalidate, actions and situations gone awry and deal with them in order to finally release them to produce a calmer, positive and more productive state of mind thus allowing us to move forward to bring about greater personal and spiritual growth !!! ... if you've had a natal chart done, you should look to see in which house or houses 27 DEGREES 38 MINUTES SCORPIO  back to 11 DEGREES 135 MINUTES SCORPIO falls - what kinds of issues did you have to  deal with in the areas of life governed by those houses ??? ... how many of you went with the flow and how many of you tried to swim upstream in the raging current of Cosmic confusion ???



Of course the recurring question we may find ourselves asking now that Mercury is back in direct motion is "WHY" ??????? ...What actions did you take yourself or have taken against you that you or the other person may now be regretting ... or you may be simply wondering why you chose to do what you did or why you were the victim of a particular course of action from other(s), and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer ...  or perhaps you are simply now trying to figure out why it even happened ???

Relationships may have come to an end - some needed to and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things during this period ...  how many of you had relationship issues surface or resurface - extremely likely in a Mercury retrograde - that you thought surely had been resolved or didn't even realize existed ???  ... how many of you began new actions within a relationship, personal or professional without waiting for the retrograde period to conclude ??? ... AND ... how many of you got married - OOPSIE  ???




Did anyone make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action or that you are beginning to regret or will do so in the days ahead ??? ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made especially with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" and rational decision making isn't always so sharp !!!




So now that the mental processing facilities are no longer going backwards - at least for most of us - in regard to Mercury and its functions, it's time to finally RELEASE these emotional holds and allow ourselves to move forward with our lives ... let go of what is best left in the past so you can achieve greater personal and spiritual growth !!!

In Scorpio, Mercury retrograde challenged us to find the courage and honesty to go deep within ourselves, facing our own inner demons, in order to bring about transformation and change in our lives in order to promote further personal and spiritual growth !!!

Mercury retrograding in the sign of Scorpio could have brought focus to the areas of life ruled by Pluto, the ruling planet of Scorpio, and 8th house matters - the house that Scorpio naturally rules ... so issues could have arisen regarding things which are hidden - especially in the unconscious self, the masses, crime, phobias and obsessions, slow growth, birth and death, isolation, coercion, kidnapping, bacteria and viruses, generation/regeneration/degeneration, secrets and things kept undercover, plumbing, dictatorships and unpopular causes - all of these things ruled by Pluto !!!

There could also have been issues regarding support one receives from other people - including financial, moral, spiritual and physical, legacies, trusts, wills, taxes, insurance matters, sex, spiritual/physical regeneration, psychological rebirth, degeneration and death - both literal and figurative, occult matters, sleep, deep research, investigations, hidden assets, assets of partners alimony, and surgeries - all of these matters represented by the 8th house !!!

In regards to overall health, remember Mercury is the natural planetary ruler of the 6th house which rules health and nutrition, among other things, so there could have been more potential to have health issues in general during this Mercury retrograde  ... while in Scorpio, there could have been issues with the elimination and reproductive systems which are areas ruled by Pluto, and the genitalia which are the anatomical areas Scorpio rules !!!


Mercury has now actually completed its full transit through Scorpio as of 4:42 AM EST today, December 9th ... it is now in the much brighter and optimistic sign of Sagittarius - more to come on what that is all about !!!


Mercury remains in direct motion until February 16th ... it will be a dual sign retrograde going from 12 degrees 53 minutes Pisces back to 28 degrees 13 minutes Aquarius ... in fact, all three personal planets will be making retrograde journeys in 2020 ... Venus will be retrograde in May/June and Mars will be retrograde in September/October/November ... both will be embedded in an ongoing Mercury retrograde for part of the time !!! ... more on that to come !!!

Neptune has been retrograde since June 21st of this year, and therefore requiring all of us to go inward and seek to attempt to tune into the collective unconscious and try to understand how our fears, illusions, confusion, or personal spiritual journey are connected into the energy of what is happening with humanity ... This retrograde journey of Neptune occurred from 18 degrees 44 minutes Pisces back down to 15 degrees 56 minutes  Pisces ... if you've had a natal chart done, you might find this was a sensitive point in your chart in regards to Neptune and its retrograde ... and especially sensitive is wherever 15 degrees 56 minutes Pisces falls as Neptune stationed at that degree and takes a few days to exit that degree ... many may have felt confused, foggy, listless or even completely drained of energy while Neptune was stationed at 15 degrees 56 minutes Pisces beginning around November 21st !!!
