THINKING THROUGH WHAT WE ARE WILLING AND CAPABLE OF ACCEPTING - THE ABILITY TO TOUCH MENTALLY THE COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS !!!

MERCURY began its dream-like transit through the highly perceptive, psychic sign of Pisces on Friday, February 14th, at 7:06 AM EST ... while Mercury is in Pisces, the thinking and communicating will be greatly influenced by and through our emotions as Pisces is a water sign, so the mind and tongue will tend to be sensitive, or overly sensitive in some cases, and intuitive with a large dose of compassion thrown in ... Mercury was last in Pisces from February 23rd through March 10th, 2024 !!!

Mercury is said to be in "detriment" in Pisces ... in "detriment" as it is in the sign opposite to the one it naturally rules - in this case being in Pisces opposite to Virgo one of the two signs it naturally rules ... so it is not operating at its full power taking on more of the signs rather than the planet's coloration, and thus visiting where it must conform to rules and regulations of that particular sign ... however, even though it may be frequently challenged by this, Mercury in Pisces still has great potential to produce some highly inspired and creative thinking and ways of communicating !!!

AND ... to add to the potential confusion and mayhem, the Mercury retrograde will be embedded in the upcoming Venus retrograde which occurs from March 1st through April 12th going from 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries back to 24 degrees 37 minutes Pisces ... obviously both Mercury and Venus will be in retrograde in the same signs and at very close degrees which could potentially make things very interesting and challenging especially depending in which houses these signs and degrees are in your natal chart ... Mercury enters its next shadow point on March 1st the day Venus stations retrograde ... BUT ... good news ... only 7 more days until this pesky Mars retrograde which began back on December 6th, 2024 is FINALLY over !!!

Venus was last in Aries from April 5th through April 29th, 2024 !!!

Venus is now in a "heated relationship" with Mars, which rules Aries, and that often potentially causes multiple problems on many different levels in our lives - especially in partnerships and relationships both public and private ... and keep in mind for the first 20 days of this transit Mars is currently retrograde until February 23rd making an already challenging "relationship" even more so ... Venus is considered to be in detriment in Aries as it is in a sign opposite the one it naturally rules - in this case Libra ... being in detriment a planet is not really operating at full power ... it's like visiting where you must conform to rules and regulations thus hindering your natural expression !!!

There is the potential for many of us to become impassioned about someone or something or both ... we will pursue it with total dedication and determination ... and if we finally get it, we could find ourselves ultimately asking the question WHY especially after it loses its initial appeal and novelty !!! ... of course some of us may also find ourselves outright overly horny, some more so than usual that is, as we are "burning with desire" !!! ... Venus is now transiting through the sign of Aries by itself, but during its extended transit will be joined along the way by the Sun and Mercury ... Venus remains in Aries until June 5th/6th depending on which time zone in which you live and you have probably guessed why at this point !!!

Venus will get no further than 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries when it begins its next retrograde journey on March 1st which will last until April 12th going from 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries back to 24 degrees 37 minutes Pisces ... Venus has been in its shadow point since January 28th !!!

NOW ... if this wasn't enough of a challenge, Mercury will take its first retrograde journey for 2025 from March 15th through April 7th going from 9 degrees 35 minutes Aries back to 26 degrees 49 minutes Pisces which obviously means it will be completely embedded in the upcoming Venus retrograde ... do these signs and degrees sound rather familiar in regard to the Venus retrograde ... so this makes it almost a necessary requirement to know in which house and/or houses these signs and degrees fall to determine in what area of your life these potential challenges per planetary retrograde may arise ... and how ironic both Mercury and Venus will be taking retrograde journeys beginning in Aries very shortly after Mars stations back into direct motion ... one more fact of interest (?), Mercury  enters its next shadow point on March 1st which is the day Venus stations retrograde ... gotta love the Universe and its perverse sense of cosmic humor, right ??? ... of course right !!!

Ultimately under this current extended transit of Venus the question becomes - Will sparks of romance or the emotional "daggers" of vengeance be flying as a result of this over heated energy of love and all of the mixed signals that may potentially occur ???

When Venus finally completes its transit through the sign of Aries, in addition to wondering if the means of the thrill of the chase truly justified the ends of what we did or did not get, we could find ourselves summing up our experiences of Venus in Aries in one of three ways - "My Love is On Fire", "Loves Labours Lost" or a "Total Eclipse of the Heart" !!! 

THE GREAT "AWAKENING" THROUGH LEARNING TO STABILIZE CONTINUES !!!

ZZZZZZZAP !!!! ... and just like that, there was definitely something electric in the air as the planet URANUS completed its retrograde journey for 2024, which began back on September 1st, 2024 and stationed back into direct motion on Thursday, January 30th, at 11:22 AM EST at 23 degrees 15 minutes Taurus !!!

URANUS DOES NOT PLAY AROUND !!! ... it is the planet representing sudden and unexpected change ... it is a shocker ... it gives flashes of insight, rebelliousness and originality ... it represents eccentricity, genius, inventiveness, revolution, intuition and the sixth sense, and everything that happens out of the blue!!! ... Uranus questions and challenges authority, and transcends business-as-usual social and cultural ideas to come to new solutions ... it absolutely insists on freedom but there is also an understanding here that freedom must be learned one step at a time!!! ... it rules electricity, technology, computers, and all things on the cutting edge ... most importantly - at least to me !!! - it is the planet that rules Astrology !!!

While Uranus was in retrograde motion, it was time for all of us to ask what changes are occurring in the world and how we are contributing to or working against these changes - the ability to see the importance between your own personal changes and the ones occurring globally, and the connection between the two, should have become a strong focal point !!!

Uranus has literally been slowing down to shift direction and hovering at 23 degrees of Taurus since around December 15th, so it may have felt like there was an edginess and restlessness on some level of our lives especially with Mercury being retrograde from November 26th through December 15th as well as Mars being in retrograde since December 6th, 2024 !!! ... since approximately January 27th, it was, from an astrological viewpoint, literally vibrating at a near stand still at the 23 degree 15 minute mark of Taurus sending out its potentially disruptive and erratic "electrically charged" energy which may have proved to be a very sensitive point in whatever area of life is ruled by where this degree is in your natal chart !!!

After Uranus stations direct, many may experience some kind of sudden and unexpected occurrence, particularly in regards to any of the previously above mentioned traits, happening to or around them or even perhaps in regards to the area of life ruled by whichever house in your natal chart this change in direction has occurred !!! ... has anything happened perhaps within the last week that was sudden and unexpected in some area of your life or the lives of others you know ??? ... or has anyone felt more edgy and restless without really knowing why ???

There could be a lot of us who experienced elevated tension during this period ... in some cases there was most likely a sudden and unexpected change made out of the blue - or even a confrontational situation arose we were not expecting ... and until the direct motion energy completely settles in, there could be many sudden and unexpected instances of rebellion, disruption, explosions - of many varieties, and confrontations !!!

This 151 day Uranus retrograde occurred from 27 degrees 15 minutes Taurus back down to 23 degrees 15 minutes Taurus ... if you've had a natal chart run, then you might get a good clue as to where this Uranus retrograde may have impacted your life especially the day that jolt of energy began moving outward and forward once again !!! ... now that Uranus is direct we can expect the potential for many changes especially with Pluto having just reentered Aquarius back on December 19th, 2024 ... it's time to start putting those changes in motion in a positive and not confrontational, rebellious or negative manner !!!

As Uranus is currently in the late stages of transiting through the sign of Taurus - where the lesson of this energy is all about "awakening" through learning to stabilize - the Universe has been giving not only Taurus born - who may have especially felt the impact of this retrograde - but everyone a glimpse of things to come and where CHANGE WILL NEED TO BE AND MUST BE ADDRESSED and WILL ULTIMATELY TAKE PLACE while Uranus transits Taurus ... Uranus is considered to be in its "fall" in Taurus as it opposite to the sign it is exalted in which is Scorpio ... in "fall", a planet can have difficulty in expressing its real nature ... it is said that in "fall", it's like the planet is visiting in someone else's house where it does not really feel comfortable ... so does this make its often disruptive, rebellious nature even more challenging or modify it somewhat ??? ... each individual will discover that on their own during this transit !!!

With Uranus in Taurus, once someone decides they want something they usually will stick to their commitment ... there are often extremely strong feelings about money either good or challenging ... it can produce financial ups and downs quite suddenly and unexpectedly ... often one will move towards more concrete, innovative ways of making money ... there is extreme determination and purpose, but carried to extremes it can greatly interfere and slow down ones progress ... it is said that materialistic attachments could limit ones freedom of expression and have a stifling effect on spiritualistic impulses ... and certainly it practically goes without saying, but I will, that knowing the house placement(s) where this transit will occur in your natal chart will be very important to understand where in your life this energy may strongly manifest in your life !!!

Uranus in Taurus has the potential to be very strong and can bestow willpower and determination ... Uranus was last in Taurus from 1934/1935 through 1942 ... this was the period of the worst of the Great Depression as well as the trigger for World War II !!!

Uranus takes roughly 7 years to completely transit through each sign of the zodiac ... it entered the sign of Taurus on May 15th, 2018 ... Uranus will not complete its transit through the sign of Taurus until April 25th/26th, 2026 depending on which time zone in which you live !!!

Aquarius born individuals, you may especially feel the forward jolt or thrust of this powerful energy as your period of "hibernation" is over and it's time to move forward once again as well as having the Sun currently in transit through your birth sign ... what have you been thinking about in your life since September 1st, 2024 that needed some kind of change - major or minor ??? ... what unique things did you discover about yourself, and where have you felt a need to break free from something or someone in order to express your individuality ???

Mercury is considered to be in "exaltation" in the sign of Aquarius meaning it is in a sign other than the one it rules - in this case being Gemini and Virgo - where its energy is expressed very harmoniously and its forces are increased as well as its virtues are magnified !!! ... Mercury's last complete transit through Aquarius occurred from February 5th through February 23rd, 2024 ... Mercury is now in a "relationship" with Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, so expect the thinking and communicating to be potentially unique and even perhaps somewhat defiant - especially as Uranus stationed back into direct motion on January 30th !!!

Mercury remains in Aquarius until February 14th - just in time for Valentines Day ... and then once it begins its transit through Pisces it will actually complete the first initial transit, but then get no further than 9 degrees 35 minutes Aries when it begins its first full retrograde journey for 2025 ... it will return to Pisces on March 29th per retrograde motion ... once direct Mercury will finish its complete journey through Pisces on April 15th/16th !!!  

HEADS UP !!! ...  Mercury begins its first retrograde journey for 2025 which will be a dual sign retrograde occurring from March 15th through April 7th going from 9 degrees 35 minutes Aries back to 26 degrees 49 minutes Pisces ... Mercury retrograde will be completely embedded in the upcoming Venus retrograde, yet another dual sign personal planet retrograde, occurring from March 1st through April 12th going from 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries back to 24 degrees 37 minutes Pisces ... notice these two retrograde periods are going to be occurring in the same signs and at very close degrees which should make it very interesting and in many cases challenging ... Venus is now in a "relationship" with Neptune, the natural ruling planet of Pisces, so there is the potential for love to be produced from some highly spiritual as well as karmic energy in ones life ... Venus was last in Pisces from March 11th through April 5th, 2024 !!!

Venus in Pisces is all about dreams and wishes, fairy tale endings, love at first sight, and happily ever after - well maybe !!! ... Venus is exalted in Pisces - a planet that is exalted in a sign expresses its energy more harmoniously and visibly through having its forces increased as well as its virtues magnified - especially in this case since Pisces ruler Neptune is considered to be the higher vibrational octave of Venus !!!

HEADS UP !!! ... although Venus will complete its initial transit through Pisces, it will actually not be through with Pisces until April 30th !!! ... once Venus enters Aries, it will get no further than 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries when it begins its next retrograde journey, a dual sign retrograde, which will occur from March 1st through April 12th going from 10 degrees 50 minutes Aries back to 24 degrees 37 minutes Pisces ... Venus returns to Pisces on March 27th to conclude the retrograde period and once direct, Venus will move forward to exit Pisces on April 30th ... AND keep in mind that the first Mercury retrograde period of 2025 which occurs from March 14th/15th through April 7th another dual sign retrograde going from 9 degrees 35 minutes Aries back to 26 degrees 49 minutes Pisces making it completely embedded in the Venus retrograde ... as you can see it will be transiting in the same "neighborhood" as the Venus retrograde as well ... Venus will enter its  shadow point on January 31st !!!

As Venus transits Pisces, back and forth, the ultimate question here becomes will the love you find truly be what you wanted and did you "see" it for what it truly was instead of being blinded by the emotions of love and romance looking through the proverbial rose-colored glasses ??? ... best to tread the emotional "waters" of love and romance carefully and cautiously under this Venusian transit !!!
