IT'S OVER ... ALL OVER ... WELL FOR NOW ANYWAY !!!

  

MERCURY completed its third and final retrograde journey for 2021 today, October 18th, and stationed  back into direct motion at 11:17 AM EDT at 10 degrees 7 minutes of Libra - do I hear a BIG SIGH OF RELIEF out there ??? ... what revelations have you had or will have, either positive or challenging in regards to what you may have done while Mercury was revolving around those degrees - 7 degrees 10 minutes to 25 degrees 28 minutes Libra - forwards, then backwards and now forward again as it crosses back over them ... in which house or houses do these degrees fall in your natal chart giving you a clue as to what area of your life this retrograde may have affected ???

Hopefully, some of the disorientation, confusion, frustration and outright irritation along with the sudden and unexpected issues that may have been produced by this Mercury retrograde will now begin to clear and subside as it becomes time to move forward, cautiously for the time being, into the swing of things on all levels - especially since in the last twelve days Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter and now Mercury have stationed back into direct motion giving us a lot of energy and incentive to get "unstuck" and move forward on some level of our lives !!!

Did any issues and complications or questioning arise in regards to things done during the last retrograde period from May 29th through June 22nd ??? ... or maybe as far back as January 30th through February 20th ??? ... and it's a sure bet that as Mercury moves forward once again crossing back over the degrees it covered during this retrograde period, issues may begin to arise meaning things begun and actions taken are certainly subject to potential review and revision !!!




Mercury retrograde periods, even though annoying and extremely frustrating at times, are actually a very beneficial thing, especially for those who were strong and fearless enough to dig deep down, as we need to validate, or in some cases invalidate, actions and situations gone awry and deal with them in order to finally release them to produce a calmer, positive and more productive state of mind thus allowing us to move forward to bring about greater personal and spiritual growth !!! ... again, if you've had a natal chart done, you should look to see in which house or houses containing 25 DEGREES 28 MINUTES LIBRA back to 10 DEGREES 7 MINUTES LIBRA fall to determine what issues you may have had to deal with in the areas of life governed by those houses ??? ... how many of you went with the flow and how many of you tried to swim upstream in the raging current of Cosmic confusion ???



Of course the recurring question we may find ourselves asking now that Mercury is back in direct motion is "WHY" ??????? ...What actions did you take yourself or have taken against you that you or the other person may now be regretting ... or you may be simply wondering why you chose to do what you did or why you were the victim of a particular course of action from other(s), and why didn't you or the other person wait a little longer ...  or perhaps you are simply now trying to figure out why it even happened ???

Relationships may have come to an end - some needed to and others may have jumped the gun and you are now wondering, or will be, why did I do that or end things during this period ...  how many of you had relationship issues surface or resurface - extremely likely in a Mercury retrograde - that you thought surely had been resolved or didn't even realize existed ???  ... how many of you began new actions within a relationship, personal or professional without waiting for the retrograde period to conclude ??? ... AND ... how many of you got married ??? 




Did anyone make any major purchases - homes, cars, electronics - that now don't seem like the best thought out course of action or that you are beginning to regret or will do so in the days ahead especially with this retrograde period in the sign of Libra ruled by Venus which concerns monetary earning and spending as well as personal values ??? ... there could be problems regarding any purchases made especially with anything where electrical energy and/or computers were involved ... all of these scenarios are possible as the energy of a Mercury retrograde is one where communications and mental energy is going "backwards" and rational decision making isn't always so sharp !!!




So now that the mental processing facilities are no longer going backwards - at least for most of us - in regard to Mercury and its functions, it's time to finally RELEASE these emotional holds and allow ourselves to move forward with our lives ... let go of what is best left in the past so you can achieve greater personal and spiritual growth !!!

While retrograde in Libra, Mercury retrograde challenged us to mainly address our relationships and partnerships both public and private  ... and it wouldn't be out of the question that the need may have arisen to address personal values and our monetary situation with Venus ruling Taurus as well even though the retrograde was not in that sign !!! ... how many lost jobs or had significant salary cutbacks ??? ... and because Mercury rules communications, it shouldn't have come as a surprise that people seem to lose their manners and tact which is what usually occurs during a Venus retrograde !!!

Mercury retrograding in the sign of Libra also had the potential to bring into focus the areas of life ruled by Venus as well as 7th house matters and also the potential to pull in 2nd house matters as Venus naturally rules these two houses of the horoscope ... so issues could have arisen regarding art, culture, possessions, partners, beauty, charm, good taste, sweets and sugar, harmony, singing, drama, music, emotional contacts, tenderness, moral character, marriage and unions of all kinds, pleasure and appreciation - all things ruled by Venus !!!

There could have been issues in regards to financial affairs, possessions (excluding real estate), investments, earning power, gains or losses through your own efforts, inner talents and resources, your need for fulfillment, your emotional feelings, your sense of self-worth, sense of values, personal liberty and material debt - all matters represented by the 2nd house !!!

But there was the greatest potential for issues to arise regarding business and marital partnerships/relationships, marriage, divorce, contracts, lawsuits, agreements, dealings with the public, open enemies, cooperation or lack thereof with other people, addressing what you most lack in yourself,  grandparents, and any people who act as your agent or on your behalf - all matters represented by the 7th house which is the specific sign on the house Venus naturally rules where this Mercury retrograde took place !!!

In regards to overall health, remember Mercury is the natural planetary ruler of the 6th house which rules health and nutrition, among other things, so there could have been more potential to have health issues in general during this Mercury retrograde  ... while retrograde in Libra there could have been issues with the throat, chin, cheeks or sense of taste, areas ruled by Venus, and the kidneys which are ruled by Libra !!!

Gemini and Virgo born, yet another period of review and reflection for you has come to an end

especially in regards to actions taken since June 22nd when Mercury last stationed back into direct motion ... how have you been enlightened and how was your life affected by having your ruling planet Mercury retrograde ... your ruling planet now resumes forward motion and much to your delight so will you - even though you were probably trying to do it during the actual retrograde ... right, of course right .. in fact many of us were doing the same thing !!!

Mercury now moves forward to conclude its full transit through Libra which began back on August 30th and will end on November 5th ... Mercury will exit its retrograde zone on November 2nd when it returns to 25 degrees 28 minutes Libra the point where it began this retrograde period !!!

Just a reminder of what the energy of Mercury in Libra is all about should you need a "refresher" :  

"Harsh words and intimidating comments are seldom or very hesitatingly spoken while Mercury moves through this sign - after all, Libra is ruled by Venus which tends to soften and sweeten things while adding charm ... in many ways this can be considered as the cosmic energy expressing the "language" of love !!!

Mercury in Libra also gives an interest to the law and the arts ... it bestows one with charm and diplomacy and gives the ability to communicate adeptly, elegantly, impartially and tactfully ... this energy produces natural born mediators and one who has truly mastered the art of whispering sweet nothings into your ear !!!



Mercury in Libra teaches us to think and communicate through relating to others, and underlying much of this thinking is a desire for agreement ... it likes an honest reputation, refined minds, good manners, moral justice and likes to learn through interaction with others ... it does not like being underestimated, having no one to talk with, and mob mentality ... as always there are two different kinds of uses with any energy ... as for Mercury in Libra they are:

NEGATIVE: weak-minded, non-committal, turncoat, smooth-talking, insincere, affected, rat-racer, blindly obedient, unoriginal, indecisive, cowardly, phony, boring, illogical, easily swayed, overly sensitive, flighty, superficial ...

With this current mercurial energy, for all of us this becomes a period of time when we have the ability to learn to speak more graciously and gently through our communications ... and to that end the Universe encourages each one of us to realize -

THE KEY TO MANIFESTING POSITIVE PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN LIFE IS TO SPEAK KINDLY AND THINK GOOD THOUGHTS !!!"

Mercury remains in direct motion until January 14th, 2022 when it takes its first retrograde journey for 2022 lasting until February 4th  which will embed it in the final 16 days of the upcoming Venus retrograde ... this will be a dual sign retrograde ... it will go from 10 DEGREES 20 MINUTES AQUARIUS back to 24 DEGREES 23 MINUTES CAPRICORN for those of you who like to plan ahead and see what area of your life it has the potential to bring issues to by which house or houses these degrees fall in ... and yes that means some of us Capricorn as well as Aquarian born will get BOTH Mercury and Venus retrograde in their solar return chart for the year ahead - and that includes yours truly ... Mercury enters its next shadow point on December 29th when it reaches 24 degrees 23 minutes Capricorn !!!

For now, move forward and try to enjoy as we enter what is often referred to as the "most wonderful time of the year", which may end up being very challenging this year given everything that is still going on particularly due to the pandemic and the fact that Venus will take its next retrograde journey beginning December 19th ... find ways to be grateful and thankful for all that you are blessed with even though there may be some difficult challenges occurring as well ... the Universe never lets us have anything "perfect" because we are supposed to be in a constant state of enlightenment and illumination promoting personal and spiritual growth !!!

MOVING FORWARD ONCE AGAIN - ON MORE SECURE STRUCTURES AND STRONGER FOUNDATIONS ???

SATURN - the planet representing authority figures, discipline, effort, sense of order, limitation, the urge for safety and security, tests us by placing obstacles and restrictions in our lives, shows what we are unsure of or truly fear, known as FATHER TIME, and most notoriously known for being the celestial taskmaster teaching us the lessons we must learn in life - stationed back into direct motion on Sunday, October 10th, at 10:17 PM EDT ... these lessons we MUST learn through the obstacles we often encounter sometimes are easier but more frequently become extremely challenging and difficult on our journey through this life in order to make us slow down so we can build strong foundations and structures in our lives that are on solid ground !!!

While Saturn has been in retrograde motion since May 23rd of this year, hopefully we have all been reviewing and trying to restructure systems, programs, organizations, corporations and rules that will allow them to function more efficiently ... we also were given the time and opportunity, if we used it wisely, to become more aware of our own personal authority and power and determine whether or not it fits within society or is actually undermining us and needs adjustment on some level ... in addition, we all should have been reviewing whether or not societies rules and policies are helping to give us needed structure or instead limiting us in some way thus preventing further personal and spiritual growth !!!

Now that Saturn has resumed direct motion, we should begin to be better able to see where we stand and thus continue building even more secure structures and foundations in our lives individually and as a society as well ... no doubt we may have encountered limitations and restrictions either self imposed or imposed on us by the Universe and/or authority figures during this retrograde period ... and perhaps now the Universe will even throw in yet another road block or two our way to make us realize whether or not we made good use of this retrograde period !!!

This Saturn retrograde period, which began back on May 23rd, occurred from 13 degrees 31 minutes back to 6 degrees 52 minutes Aquarius ... if you know in your natal chart in which house or houses these degrees fall, then you may understand where in your life this Saturn retrograde was making its impact - especially if it made any aspects to one of your natal planets or angles those being the cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses ... Saturn has been at the 6 degree mark of Aquarius since the end of September, and will not leave the 6 degree mark until approximately October 23rd, yielding the potential for this to have been a challenging period for many people especially related to the area of life ruled by which house 6 degrees Aquarius falls in !!!

My fellow Capricorns, this was our yearly period of review, self-introspection and rethinking of what has transpired in our lives especially from September 29th, 2020 until May 23rd of this year - that being the period when Saturn was in forward motion !!!

Saturn is currently transiting through the sign of Aquarius which it began back on March 21st, 2020 ... Saturn in Aquarius is all about combining traditional values with new age related insights and ideas ... it's a placement that yields the potential for a well organized mental concentration ... here the concern for impartial truth is highly pursued ... it also has the potential to give a sense of justice and responsibility in relationships ... it gives a heightened ability to visualize form and structure and can yield great mathematical ability ... and as Saturn is considered to be in a "partnership" with Uranus, planetary ruler of Aquarius, there is great potential to bring structure and order to the immense desire for freedom as well as to the chaos that can often ensue from the often disruptive energy Uranus creates !!!

Usually people are not very happy when Saturn comes into the picture - even though it is always there one way or the other - to teach us and make us learn life lessons that are often very daunting and difficult, but we native Capricorn born understand how hard Saturn's "weight" can bear down on us ... after all, it is considered to be the Celestial Taskmaster !!! ... so its retrograde journey each year becomes an opportunity for everyone else to feel and hopefully come to understand what we have to live with all of our life ... challenging - you bet !!! ... and no one would ever say it was an easy task, but the potential for rewards are unlimited if you open your eyes, ears and hearts, allow the Universe to lead the way and be willing to go the distance ... after all, if you don't learn the lesson the first time, you can be sure the Universe will bring the lessons back around again, and the next time they may end up being even more difficult to deal with in your life !!!

As Saturn is most frequently teaching all of us very difficult lessons, some more so than others,  holding firm and staying positive will get us through this making us stronger and better able to deal with life and its many challenges ... so if you can keep your feet firmly planted and try to understand that the "light at the end of the tunnel" usually signifies greater personal as well as spiritual growth, you will definitely come through not only a much stronger and focused person but also able to handle this journey through life more efficiently for the lessons you have taken seriously and made great personal effort to learn from ... you will surely be better equipped to deal with life and its many constant challenges not just from Saturn's energy !!!

Time for me to once again reiterate a worthwhile observation of mine ... as a Capricorn born who will be ruled lifelong by Saturn, I can say that from personal experience the transits of Saturn aren't always a bad thing that should be dreaded ... while its actions can be difficult and challenging, Saturn's main objective is to help us grow and become a better, more highly functional and successful person by finding the courage deep from within to take a serious and honest look at where we are versus where we should be going ... as I have heard it said many times, better to be right than right now !!! ... ultimately this is done by making sure our foundations in life are always, strong, solid and secure !!!

Saturn remains in direct motion until June 4th, 2022 and in Aquarius until March 7th, 2023 !!!

DISCOVERING THE INEXHAUSTIBLE BOUNTY OF LOVE !!!

 

Venus began its transit through the enthusiastic, broad-minded sign of Sagittarius today, October 7th at 7:21 AM EDT ... this Venus is all about the adventure and excitement that love can bring, and therefore ends up being a love that doesn't always last especially being in a fire sign where the flames of passion and love can burn out fast especially when something or someone else perceived as better comes along ... but friendships have longevity and they are usually numerous ... Venus was last in Sagittarius from December 15th, 2020 through January 8th, 2021 ... Venus in Sagittarius produces a much lighter, happier and less intense version of the pursuit of love than Scorpio !!!

Venus in Sagittarius energy enjoys travel, philosophy, education, and anything which will broaden ones horizons and perspective on life ... it is friendly, expansive and philanthropic towards people ... affection is expressed generously, grandly, extravagantly unless one becomes disillusioned when their ideals are denied ... in fact, this Venus can give so much that it forgets it deserves to receive as well ... honesty is valued and one can be quite broad minded in terms of love ... pleasure is found through ideals and ideas !!!



It may be difficult getting settled down into one relationship because there is the enjoyment of exploration and adventure along with the constant seeking of the ideal relationship ... comfort and harmony here requires the freedom to roam, explore, and always be able to look for something better ... NEVER try to tie down or fence this Venus in or it's over in the blink of an eye !!! ... the handling of money and possessions is usually optimistic and often can lead one to getting overextended ... this Venus wants "THE BEST" in its love relationships ... both partners must agree on goals, values and their world view ... philosophical harmony is absolutely essential ... being direct and honest is required ... there is also an increased benefit through foreign travel, people and their cultures ...this Venus energy can be extremely flirtatious !!!



Venus in Sagittarius teaches us how we love through what it is we are seeking ... it's the joy of love - here we find an awareness of the inexhaustible bounty of love ... one understands that there cannot be the good times without the bad, and through thick and thin faith in love and spiritual quests is never lost ... the unbounded and expansive sense of love and pleasure can inspire and warm ones heart ... along with the awareness of the infinite supply of Love, it is important to give something of value to others !!!



Venus in Sagittarius is also concerned with the bonding of physical and spiritual love ... it is important here to learn from actual experience rather than from a book ... ultimately a set of beliefs and principles will dictate that ones manner of loving and relating is essential to ones happiness ... this Venus likes quick emotional responses, honest and upfront relating, playing around and philanthropy ... it dislikes holding back, leaving things unsaid, restraint and inactivity and flattery and phony facades ... the energy of Venus in Sagittarius can be expressed in the following ways :

Venus is currently the only planet in transit through Sagittarius ... Venus remains in Sagittarius until November 5th !!!

HEADS UP !!! ... this is the last full sign transit of Venus before it begins its next retrograde journey ... Venus will enter the sign of Capricorn on November 5th but get no further than 26 degrees 39 minutes Capricorn when it begins its retrograde journey for 2021/2022 on December 19th ... this next retrograde of Venus will occur completely in the sign of Capricorn going from 26 degrees 39 minutes back to 11 degrees 4 minutes Capricorn ... it will take place from December 19th through January 29th, 2022 ... that means ALL of my fellow Capricorns will get this retrograde energy in their upcoming solar return for the year ahead along with some Sagittarius and some Aquarius born ... Venus enters its next shadow point when it reaches 11 degrees 4 minutes Capricorn on November 17th !!!

As Venus transits Sagittarius, it is important to remember to set a higher value on yourself which ultimately may lead to others appreciating you more ... you will be truly loved for expressing how you genuinely feel about yourself ... identify your ideals and needs and seek to express them ... understand that love grows through its own trials !!! ... and due to its nature of being extremely frank and direct in communicating feelings under this expansive energy, it might be best to heed the sage advice to take precaution and remember -

"LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS" !!! 

UPHEAVAL AND TRANSFORMATION - WHAT WILL COME TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY THAT HAD BEEN BURIED SO DEEP WITHIN ???

PLUTO - planet, dwarf planet, etc., take your pick  - associated with death, rebirth, transformation, change, upheaval, healing and renewal - completed its retrograde journey for 2021 today, October 6th, at 2:29 PM EDT ... Pluto has been in retrograde motion since April 27th going from 26 degrees 48 minutes Capricorn back down to 24 degrees 18 minutes Capricorn and there undoubtedly has been a lot of reexamination on many levels of changes both we as individuals and as a society have been involved in !!!

Now that Pluto is stationing back into direct motion, things could start to surface that we may have been seeking information about ... secrets will surely begin to be exposed and those involved will most likely be brought into public awareness even if they did not want their questionable actions to see the light of day!!! ... during the retrograde period we have all been trying to understand how we individually impact the Earth and other people as well ... Pluto is getting even closer to completing its transit through the sign of Capricorn ... there are definitely going to continue to be issues arising concerning big business, the economy and governmental policy changes that affect everyone - especially as we are still being influenced by COVID-19 !!!




Pluto tends to expose the "dark side" of things and bring it into the light even when it is not what some would like ... we are  currently witnessing what could be referred to as the shakedown of governmental lawbreakers as well as intense scrutiny of the very process of the way the government is functioning - or not !!! ... also people are empowering themselves to make authority serve the true needs of all people and the planet as well !!!

There are two groups of people that are most likely feeling the effects of this powerful shift even though we all will on some level in our lives ... Scorpio born individuals, this is your ruling planet so now it's time to come out of your period of review and reflection which began around April 27th and start implementing changes or be prepared for change and transformation !!!



My fellow Capricorn individuals, we are going through massive personal change, upheaval, transformation and even healing and "rebirth" as this energy is making an added impact for us since Pluto is moving through our birth sign, the transit actually beginning in January of 2008, and will not complete its transit through our sign until 2024 due to its lengthy retrograde journeys and slow movement - after all it takes about 248 years to complete one journey around the zodiac !!!



In fact during this transit my fellow Capricorns, Pluto has either crossed over or will be crossing over, or be conjunct as we refer to it, at some point your natal Capricorn Sun placement at birth with the potential to bring vast sweeping changes to your life ... and it is very important that you do something NOW during this transit in order to move forward productively on your path in life ... the changes may be difficult and challenging but should not be feared as they are necessary and will bring about the birth of something new in your life that will be beautiful and remarkable !!!



For those of you who have had a natal chart done and know in which house 24 degrees 18 minutes Capricorn falls, you most likely will feel some kind of power shift or impact in that area of your life from Pluto stationing back into direct motion ... in fact, it's intensity has really been building since roughly August 17th when Pluto reentered the 24 degree area where it would eventually station direct !!!



Pluto remains in direct motion until April 29th, 2022 when it begins its next retrograde journey at 28 degrees 35 minutes Capricorn !!!



We all should now be prepared for an outward upheaval, tearing down, death - not necessarily always physical, rebirth, transformation, change and even the potential for deep healing somewhere in our lives and/or within society - understanding not only that this process is absolutely necessary for personal as well as spiritual growth, but more importantly we should always be prepared to expect the  unexpected !!!

And now that Pluto has completed its retrograde journey for 2021 and begins its forward motion, things may truly once again, if they haven't already, begin to SHAKE ... RATTLE ... AND ROLL !!! 

ONE MORE TIME FOR OLD TIMES SAKE DURING 2021 !!!

 

MERCURY -  began its third and final retrograde journey for 2021 today, September 27th, at 1:10 AM EDT ... if you've been following my blogs, or most anyone else who writes about this "phenomena", then you know pretty much what to expect during a Mercury Retrograde ... as always - EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!! ... some of you may have noticed the energy beginning to move backwards already when Mercury entered its shadow point - the point where it will come out of the retrograde on October 18th - back on September 6th when Mercury reached 10 degrees 7 minutes Libra  ... from now on things somehow just don't seem to go right or as we planned and we often find ourselves RE-DOING things, not only inside the retrograde period, but especially after Mercury stations back into direct motion !!!



This Mercury retrograde is completely in the sign of Libra going from 25 degrees 28 minutes back to 10 degrees 7 minutes Libra !!!



Obviously communications are going to be challenged both to and from others ... partnerships and relationships often hit the skids during these periods ... it is NOT a good time to make major purchases - especially cars - a big NO NO, computers or anything that involves electronics !!! ... purchasing homes can end up producing unforeseen problems and even the contracts can have unexpected difficulties along the way or at closing especially if the closing takes place during the retrograde period .... it is also not a good idea to enter into contracts or start new jobs as they will most likely not pan out and end up being dead ends .... obviously one cannot put their life on hold, but if there is anyway to hold off on these things until Mercury turns direct, it would prove beneficial in the long run ... I have frequently found, though, that in some charts I've done, people born under a Mercury retrograde sometimes seem to thrive during these periods because they innately understand the backward energy and how to work with it !!!

NO NO NO - especially with this retrograde in Libra which naturally rules the 7th house including, among other things MARRIAGE !!! ... now I know it takes time to plan a wedding and if you have already done so then there is no need to rush and cancel it ... sometimes it is the impromptu weddings that run into serious trouble ... regardless, I would highly suggest you get someone to note when you are pronounced a married couple and then find a reputable astrologer to run an event chart for the "birth" of the wedding relationship in particular to see in which house this Mercury retrograde energy falls ... this would give you a good idea in what area of life you might run into difficulties down the road or certainly where to keep an eye out for potential trouble !!!



It is very important to understand that Mercury retrogrades are NOT ALWAYS the harbingers of doom and gloom ... even though it is true they can cause disruption and misunderstandings, we have to realize these are simply Universal "time outs" which give us the opportunity to go back to rethink and review our actions especially as the energy relates to the current sign that the planet is transiting through ... bottom line - though we often joke about it, retrogrades shouldn't always be feared and dreaded but perhaps approached cautiously ... the Universe is giving us a chance to right our wrongs and redirect ourselves to achieve more beneficial personal and spiritual growth !!!



Mercury retrogrades are simply a time for reviewing and revision ... as the saying goes, "it might be a good idea to drop back and punt" !!! ... during a retrograde journey it can be said that we are in a mental "down time" and often things will not register on a conscious level with us ... it is said that the use of Mercury retrograde cycles are to reconnect the individual with the Universal rhythm ... this is NOT the time to make vast sweeping changes ... rather one should keep an eye open for possibilities that could prove more satisfying once the energy has returned back to direct motion ... and to point out once again, I have found that some people who are born with Mercury retrograde in their natal chart may have the tendency to navigate these often turbulent waters somewhat easier !!!

In Libra, Mercury retrograde challenges us to mainly address our relationships and partnerships both public and private  ... and it wouldn't be out of the question that the need may arise to address personal values and our monetary situation with Venus ruling Taurus - the sign naturally falling on the cusp of the 2nd house which rules how you earn and spend money and personal values as well even though the retrograde is not in that sign !!!

Mercury retrograding in the sign of Libra can bring into focus the areas of life ruled by Venus as well as 7th house matters and also potentially pulling in 2nd house matters as Venus naturally rules these two houses of the horoscope ... so issues could arise regarding art, culture, possessions, partners, beauty, charm, good taste, sweets and sugar, harmony, singing, drama, music, emotional contacts, tenderness, moral character, marriage and unions of all kinds, pleasure and appreciation - all things ruled by Venus !!!

There could also be issues in regards to financial affairs, possessions (excluding real estate), investments, earning power, gains or losses through your own efforts, inner talents and resources, your need for fulfillment, your emotional feelings, your sense of self-worth, sense of values, personal liberty and material debt - all matters represented by the 2nd house !!!

But there is the greatest potential for issues to arise regarding business and marital partnerships, marriage, divorce, contracts, lawsuits, agreements, dealings with the public, open enemies, cooperation or lack thereof with other people, addressing what you most lack in yourself, grandparents, and any people who act as your agent or on your behalf - all matters represented by the 7th house which is the specific sign on the house Venus naturally rules where this Mercury retrograde is taking place ... and because Mercury rules communications, don't be surprised if people seem to lose their manners and tact which is what usually occurs during a Venus retrograde !!!

Health-wise, there could be issues with the throat, chin, cheeks or sense of taste which are areas ruled by Venus, and the kidneys which are ruled by Libra !!!

As Mercury is the natural ruler of the 6th house, there is always the possibility of issues regarding daily work and service, as well as ones health and nutritional habits !!!

A Mercury retrograde is usually not a good time to have surgery as the healing process could be slowed down or there could be the chance of having to go back at a later date and take care of something that wasn't done correctly - especially in regards to cosmetic surgery which goes double this time while Mercury retrogrades in the sign of Libra which is ruled by Venus !!! ... now this applies to elective surgery ... as for emergency surgery, we have no control over that and trying to put that off might produce catastrophic results !!!

If all of the above mentioned areas weren't enough to have to consider where possible issues could arise,  keep in mind if you've had a natal chart done, then look and see in which house or houses you find 25 degrees 28 minutes Libra back to 10 degrees 7 minutes Libra ... this is where you are most likely going to find issues arise particularly for you in the areas of life governed by the house or houses where this Mercury retrograde falls in your natal chart ... A lot to "think" about when the mental processing is not functioning at its best ... once again a good reminder of how important it is to have a natal chart run by a reputable Astrologer !!!

Gemini and Virgo born since Mercury is your natural ruling planet, this is your time to "try" and slow down for personal review and rethinking - especially in regards as to what has transpired in your lives since Mercury last resumed direct motion on June 22nd !!!

"Here is your Survival manual: Mercury retro always creates a repeating action. The Re-Words are common. Some re-words that you will notice during this time are:

Repeat – The action you are making during the RX period you will probably repeat again during the period or later.


Repair – The need for repair will arise. If possible, put if off until Mercury turns direct (October 18th).


Reverse - You will be amazed at how many times you change your mind or reverse your thinking during this time. Watch out for that race car driver that is driving in reverse down the emergency lane on the freeway. Yikes !!!


Recall - Your mind will wonder back. You will think of people from the past or you will encounter someone from the past. If old lovers show up, don't bet that it will stick. Believe me... it is just for a "review." (And if it does last, I want to be the first to know about it. E-mail me and let me know). And you know what, I wouldn't start a new romance during this period either. Hold off until AFTER October 18th !!!


Review - If you are reading instructions, you may find it necessary to review repeatedly because they simply don't make sense. Sometimes the publisher has actually left out a step. It happens!


Regroup - In corporations, it is a common experience during the Rx to hear the boss say, 'Alright, we are going to rework this thing and get it right.' Later when the period is over, they go back to the old way doing things. It is a laugh a minute. Stand back and watch the comedy.


Reboot and Revise - The computer world is a definite place to watch the comedy. It is common for one to suddenly, without fore thought, decide to revise their system during the Rx. Oh! Mercy! That revised system may never function in the normal way. Oh, please! Do wait until the period is over. However, it is fine to do your shopping for the new components during the Rx. When you do go to purchase your parts in October after the 18th, you will most likely find better deals and buys.


Return - Now here is a good one. You'll find that this period is a popular time for family or class reunions. Should you stay are home? Absolutely not! You go because this is a review that you don't want to miss. But funny thing is that in spite of the fact that you tell these people 'lets stay in touch' it will become lip service and you won't live up to your suggestion.


Rebirth – Often one will go back into the past and bring up old creative projects to work with during this time frame. Sometimes it sticks and sometimes it doesn't. Only you will be able to activate the discipline to keep it going once the retrograde period is over.


Recover - You can bet that you will dig into your files, boxes or storage to recover something that you need…you can also bet it won't be an easy find. It is likely that you will be looking for a legal document· While it is possible that you may not find what you are looking for, you may find something that you would like to put back in to use. Those of you born between September 26th and October 17th will definitely have Mercury retrograde energy in their birthday (solar return) chart for the whole year ahead ... those born on September 25th/26th and October 18th may or may not get this backward energy depending on the time of your solar return !!! ... below is a repeat explanation of what it means to have Mercury Retrograde for the whole year in your birthday chart:



The significance of having Mercury retrograde in your yearly birthday chart or, as we refer to it in Astrology, a Solar Return, is summed up below by Mary Fortier Shea in her book titled "Planets in Solar Return" :



"A Solar Return is the time every year that the Sun returns to the same degrees and minutes it was at when you were born - all the more reason to know your birth time now isn't it, hmmmmm????? ... a new chart is run for you at the time your solar return occurs in that given year and it is run for wherever you are at the precise time of your solar return ... this produces a new horoscope chart which shows what energy you may or may not run into for the year ahead - that is from the current birthday until next years birthday ... its energy can be felt from one to three months out before the actual solar return occurs .... often people will relocate for the return time in order to get a particular energy in their solar return chart ...



Mercury is usually retrograde in a solar return chart every six years ... during this time it's best to be introspective ... you should be learning and thinking on your own rather than depending on others ... the mind is like an overstuffed drawer seriously in need of re-filing and reorganization ... in other words the time has come to "process" ...

For all of us, now becomes a time to review and rethink what is going on in our lives and especially what may have been started or done during the last Mercury retrograde, that being May 29th through June 22nd, or, like Gemini and Virgo born, actions we undertook since the last Mercury Retrograde ended on June 22nd ... and it would not be out of the realm of possibilities to have issues arise from previous Mercury retrogrades in particular the retrograde periods from January 30th through February 20th  or October 14th through November 3rd, 2020 - all of these being the most recent Mercury retrogrades ... and in some cases. issues arising from previous retrograde periods further back than those mentioned ... after all, Mercury is known as the "trickster" and you never know what may occur !!!



Whatever the case, it is for sure that there will undoubtedly be lights going ON in our heads regarding certain actions as well as other lights going OUT as this Mercury retrograde energy wreaks its cosmic havoc for the next 23 days ... Mercury remains retrograde until October 18th !!!

It would be in your best interest to slow down and try not to act too impulsively and swim upstream in a raging current of cosmic chaos or the day may come in the near future when you live to regret what you did ... be aware that tempers will flare and patience may become very scarce at times  ... most importantly, keep that sense of humor close at hand ... it will definitely be needed many times especially during the next 3 weeks !!!

As always my fellow beings of light, when all is said and done, the burning question becomes whether or not will we become the victim of Constant Cosmic chaos, the recipient of great Cosmic Clarity - or perhaps both ???

The SUN began its transit through the charming, social but sometimes indecisive sign of Libra today, September 22nd, at 3:21 PM EDT   ... also known as the Autumnal Equinox - equal day and equal night - Summer 2021 is officially OVER !!!, at least in the Northern hemisphere (Spring or Vernal Equinox in the Southern hemisphere) - onward to colder weather - YEAH !!! ... OK, do I hear a few BOOS out there ??? 

The Sun is considered to be in its fall in the sign of Libra as this is the sign that is opposite to the one where it is considered to be in exaltation which is Aries !!! ... a planet in "fall" can have difficulty expressing its true nature ... it is said if a planet is in its fall, you are staying in someone else's home where you do not really feel comfortable !!!

The Sun in Libra encourages us to shine through cooperation, diplomacy, competition - one on one, and through aesthetic channels ... Libra is all about bringing things into balance and sometimes the desire to do so can create a situation where one continually bounces back and forth trying to come to a decision accidentally causing indecision or frustration instead !!!

MARS - began its fiery, passionate transit through the romantic, sociable sign of Libra yesterday, September 14th, at 8:14 PM EDT ... Libra is ruled by Venus the planet of love and relationships !!! ... Mars was last in Libra from October 4th through November 18th/19th, 2019 ... think back to that time period as to what was going on and be prepared as similar issues have the potential to arise once again especially if they were not properly addressed or handled incorrectly during that period !!!

Mars is said to be in "detriment" in the sign of Libra as this is the sign directly opposite the one it rules which is Aries ... Mars is therefore like a guest in someone else's "house" and must conform to their rules !!! ... Normally air (Libra) gives life to fire (Mars), but for all of its robust energy, Mars here can easily get out of control rather quickly !!! ... and it should be no surprise that Mars sometimes has  trouble operating in the sign of Libra because its need for direct action is limited by the need for approval and cooperation of others !!!
