SOMETHING ELECTRIC IN THE AIR !!!

... while it's true that the Holiday season has officially begun and with it comes a stir of anticipation and a childlike excitement that can feel like a highly charged electrical impulse running through your body, I would like to address another kind of "electrical impulse" that may be adding to the mix ... the planet Uranus completed its retrograde journey and stationed back into direct motion tthis evening 12/5, at 8:51 PM EST ...


Uranus is the planet representing sudden and unexpected change ... it is a shocker ... it gives flashes of insight, rebelliousness and originality ... it represents eccentricity, genius, inventiveness, revolution, intuition and the sixth sense, and everything that happens out of the blue!!! ... Uranus questions and challenges authority, and transcends business-as-usual social and cultural ideas to come to new solutions ... it absolutely insists on freedom but there is also an understanding here that freedom must be learned one step at a time!!! ... it rules electricity, technology, computers, and all things on the cutting edge ... most importantly - at least to me !!! - it is the planet that rules Astrology!!! ... while it is in retrograde motion, it's time for all of us to ask what changes are occurring in the world and how we are contributing to or working against these changes ... the ability to see the importance between your own personal changes and the ones occurring globally, and the conncetion between the two, becomes a strong focal point ...

Uranus has literally been slowing down to shift direction and remaining at 26 degrees of Pisces since November 8th, so it may have felt like there was an edginess and restlessness all month ... interestingly enough on December 1st it was, in an astrological viewpoint, literally vibrating at a stand still sending out its disruptive electrical energy ... when it turned direct today and for the next few days until we get used to the switch in motion, there could be sudden and unexpected occurrences or any of the above mentioned traits happening - has anything happened perhaps within the last week that was sudden and unexpected in some area of your life ??? ... or has anyone felt rather edgy and restless without really knowing why ??? ... now that Uranus is direct we can expect changes - it's time to start putting those changes in motion ...

Aquarius born individuals, your period of "hibernation" is over for the year and it's time to move forward once again ... what have you been thinking about that needs some kind of change since July 5th of this year??? ... it might well have something to do with your spirituality as Uranus is currently transiting through the sign of Pisces or maybe even something in the area of the creative arts and entertainment  even though it briefly entered Aries the end of May and reamined there in the very early degrees until mid August before returning to Pisces one last time ... Pisces born this is the completion of Uranus transiting through your birth sign since March 2003 .. what unique things have you discovered about yourself, and where have you felt a need to break free from something or someone in order to express your individuality ???
Uranus in Pisces brought about the potential for a unique talent for understanding and expressing human feelings ... there is plenty of psychic awareness here as well ... intuition is greatly enhanced in this sign ... but there is also a required need to withdraw from the world and recharge your "personal batteries" ... it is most likely that there will now be more unique and/or unusual advances in any of the arts on some level ... and Pisces born individuals you might especially feel the energy of the direction switch with Uranus in your birth sign ...

Uranus retrogrades for about 5 months every year ... it will remain in direct motion until next year on July 9th ... it continues its transit through the sign of Pisces until March 2011 when it begins its complete transit through the sign of Aries ... still plenty of time for a lot of "creative genius" to be expressed ... make good use of the final pass through the sign of Pisces - it won't return for approximately 84 years and a lot of us will probably have left the planet by then !!!

So remember as you are out holiday shopping, even though people seem hurried, pushy and "rebellious" - especially if you get hold of that particular item they wanted to purchase - they are simply "charging up" on their credit cards in addition to being "charged up" by Uranus shifting back into direct motion ... "Shocking" isn't it???
